His first album, Jasmina, released in year 2000 for Best Records, brought little success in his career. However, after a five-year hiatus, Dado became prominent in the Ex-Yugoslav music industry after the release of his second album "100 stepeni" in 2005 for Grand Production, a major record in Serbia, with support from his uncle.
On 15 December 2008, Dado Polumenta released his fourth album, entitled Zauvijek tvoj (Forever yours), two months longer than originally slated for release in October 2008. Poluementa believes that this album will be his "milestone in work as in life".
