It's interesting. I was showing my son music videos from when I was a kid. This one in particular started a now 3-day conversation about the dancers moving in time to either the rhythm or melody and us practicing movement with each of them.

We've watched it so many times and he now loves this song 🤣 lol

I remember watching this on MTV during summer break in middle school, sometime circa the mid to late 90s! What a classic it has become. I gave my 9 year old a globe with pins she can mark.her countries she's visited, it gave me an option of an inscription and I chose "Around the world, around the world" she instantly knew it was the song when she opened the gift 😀😀

I did notice some dissyncronisities in the movements, giving some more personality than they may require, and making others stand out more than perhaps they ought should.

I will concede, however, a choreography of this scale is difficult to pull off to perfection, so these 'errors' could just as easily been intentional, to either save on budget and time, or to retain some measure of individual personality to the characters choreographed.
