Daft Punk is also credited with producing songs that were considered essential in the French house scene. They were managed from 1996 to 2008 by Pedro Winter (Busy P), the head of Ed Banger Records.
While Stardust was a one-time musical collaborative effort consisting of producers Thomas Bangalter, Alan Braxe and vocalist Benjamin Diamond.
The short-lived group released the popular club track titled "Music Sounds Better with You" in 1998. The song, which is based around a sample from "Fate" by Chaka Khan, was recorded in Paris by Daft House productions, of which Bangalter, one half of the popular French house duo Daft Punk, is based. The song was conceived in Rex Club, Paris, where the trio were playing a live set. Bangalter and Braxe created the instrumental, which Diamond instinctively sang the title words over. The next day they laid down the track in the studio, adding the Chaka Khan sample.
The three members of the band parted ways soon after the single's chart run. Diamond and Braxe pursued solo careers, and Bangalter, along with his usual partner Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, went on to release the second Daft Punk album, Discovery.

The recurring theme in these lyrics is the reminder that even though we may elevate ourselves through technology, we are still just human beings with flesh and blood. The repetition of "we are human after all" emphasizes the point that no matter how much we may try to escape or hide our humanity, it is still an inherent part of who we are. The use of the word "flesh" further emphasizes this, as it is a reminder of our physicality and vulnerability.
The repetition of the word "human" is also significant as it further accentuates the message of these lyrics. The repetition creates a kind of mantra that reminds listeners that no matter how much technology advances, we should not forget our humanity. The use of this repetition in the song also has the effect of making the lyrics more impactful and memorable.
Overall, these lyrics are a commentary on the relationship between technology and humanity. It is a reminder that no matter how advanced our technology becomes, we are still just human after all.
