A la casa del ritmo
Donde todo era
Conga y Bongó
Me invitaron la otra vez
A la casa del ritmo
Donde todo era
Estaban ya los mejores congueros
y también los timbaleros
y los bravos bongoseros
que le sabían poner sabor
con su tumbao caliente
que me lo quiero aprender
ese tumbao caliente
que me lo quiero
aprender
Aquí es que comienza mi historia
cuando yo la conocí
Está grabado en mi memoria
el momento en que la vi
y su cuerpo tan hermoso
que yo lo quise conocer
ese cuerpo tan hermoso
que yo lo quise
conocer
Me invitaron la otra vez
A la casa del ritmo
Donde todo era
Conga y Bongó
Me invitaron la otra vez
A la casa del ritmo
Donde todo era
Conga y Bongó
Encantado la hice mía
Por tres noches y tres días
y me embriagó con sus ojos verdes
Hasta el día en que la perdí
esos ojos tan sensuales
que me enseñaron a querer
esos ojos tan sensuales
que me enseñaron
a querer
Me invitaron la otra vez
A la casa del ritmo
Donde todo era
Conga y Bongó
Me invitaron la otra vez
A la casa del ritmo
Donde todo era
Conga y Bongó
Regresé a la casa del ritmo
por todos lados la busqué
y aunque nunca mas la vi
aquí es que yo me quedaré
con mis divinos recuerdos
que nunca los quiero perder
y ese tumbao caliente
que ya lo llevo en mi ser
ese tumbao caliente
que ya lo llevo
The lyrics of Daiquiri's song "La Casa del Ritmo" paint a picture of a vibrant party atmosphere where the beats of the conga and bongo drums reign supreme. The singer recounts being invited to this rhythmic haven where the best congueros, timbaleros, and bongoseros join forces to create an intoxicating and unforgettable experience. The singer is particularly taken with a beautiful woman whose body he longs to know intimately. Though he enjoys a few nights of ecstasy with her, he loses her and returns to the house of rhythm searching for her in vain. But what he takes away from this experience is not only the memory of a beautiful woman but also the hot tumbao beat that he carries within him wherever he goes.
The song's lyrics conjure up a feeling of being swept away by the lively and pulsing beat of Latin music. The house of rhythm becomes a symbol of a utopian ideal, where people come together to lose themselves in the music, dancing and socializing until dawn. It is a place where the singer can momentarily forget his worries and be immersed in the carefree energy of the moment. However, within this hedonistic world, there is also a poignant sense of loss and longing, as the singer searches for something that he can never find again.
Overall, the lyrics of "La Casa del Ritmo" are about the joy and beauty of losing oneself in music and the memories that the experience creates, even when it's over.
