Push it and it's gonna start to happen it's
Funny, and then you get kicked out
You are the best paid mommy from the wrist
There is a plastic tube with liquid drips
Let's puncture it
Dressy, when you're gettin confirmed you're dressy
And the priest will be acting blessy
You are the best paid mommy from the wrist
There is a plastic tube with liquid drips
Lets puncture it
Peel back, do you want to see what's underneath?
Broken and grinding down the adult teeth
You are the best paid mommy from the wrist
There is a plastic tube with liquid drips
Let's puncture it
You could just push it and you could just cut it
And you could just bite it and you could just love it
The lyrics in Daiquiri's song "Office" are abstract and open to interpretation. The song seems to comment on the monotony and absurdity of the daily grind, particularly in a white-collar office environment. The opening lines, "Push it if you want to see what happens, Push it and it's gonna start to happen," suggest a desire for change or disruption, but also imply the consequences that come with taking risks. The line "You are the best paid mommy from the wrist" could reference the idea of being trapped in a job that pays well but offers no real fulfillment or creativity, reducing the worker to a childlike state. The repeated references to "a plastic tube with liquid drips" imply a sense of reliance or addiction, possibly to drugs or to the routine of the job itself.
As the song continues, the lyrics become more surreal and fragmented, with references to a confirmation ceremony, grinding teeth, and the option to "just love it." These lines allude to the pressure to conform and submit to societal expectations, even if it means sacrificing one's individuality and desires. The repeated invitation to "push it" suggests a desire for rebellion or escape from this constraining world, but the consequences of doing so remain unclear. The song ultimately leaves the listener with a sense of unease and tension, but also a desire for liberation and self-expression.
