Grey Clouds
Dakoda Motor Co. Lyrics

Clutter up my life
Blue skies aren't a part of me
As far as I can see
You are the light
Guide me through the night
Your will is there for me
Some things we won't ever know
Until we learn to let go
You are the light
Guide me through the night
The road is clear and I can feel
You near
And things won't be the same, no
āCause I'll trust in You
And I know that I'll stand through
By the power of His name
Grey clouds in the sky
They don't clutter up my life
Blue skies are a part of me
As far as I can see
You are the light
Guide me through the night
You are my guide
Always walk by my side
By my side
The song "Grey Clouds" by Dakoda Motor Co. appears to be about feeling weighed down and a lack of clarity in one's life. The grey clouds in the sky are a metaphor for the negativity and obstacles that surround the singer, making life feel cluttered and dark. They seem to be holding him back from experiencing happiness and joy, represented by blue skies, which he feels are not a part of him.
However, the song shifts when the singer addresses someone who is guiding him through these tough times. This person is a source of light in the darkness, and helps to guide him through the uncertain and blurry aspects of his life. The singer acknowledges that it can be difficult to see through the glare of problems, but this person's will is there for him.
The lyrics seem to suggest that letting go of certain things we may never fully understand is necessary in order to move forward. The road becomes clear, and the singer feels the presence of this guiding figure near him. He trusts in this person, acknowledging that everything won't be the same, but knowing that he'll stand through it all by the power of faith. In the end, the grey clouds no longer clutter the singer's life as he becomes more in tune with the guide's light, finding a sense of peace and clarity.

here we are decades later and what ever happened to them / Davia?
I met them, discussed photos (back when I was into that), but things happened...
Now I look on Spotify and just the two albums and some mention of Davia being replaced an an album in 1996 (Railroad) that doesn't show under Dakoda Motor Co.
