It's like the Exterminieren bit. Martha's British, so if she was still getting the benefit of TARDIS translation, she'd hear it in English, so the only way she hears German is if that's what the daleks are speaking. Ergo, they say Exterminate in the local language.

@Shadow Plays I don't think so, the Daleks don't really have wheels, either. I think it's pretty plausible they've always been able to 'float' and that they move around by just floating slightly off the ground. It just doesn't come up often because the actual props are done with remote control bases.

I think 2005's Dalek is pretty much the only time I've felt sorry for a Dalek where it says; "I am in pain." And then the "I shall not be like you." And ultimately asks Rose to tell it to self exterminate. I don't think any other Dalek has brought out that kind of sympathy out of me... Except maybe Dalek Sec in the New York episode where he gets shunned by the Cult Of Skaro just because he had new ideas outside Dalek concepts.

Good compilation, but if it's supposed to be the daleks being iconic, where is the clip from Remembrance of the Daleks which first showed a dalek elevating up the stairs? Or the first ever dalek shot of just the sucker arm terrorising Barbara? Or the daleks with flame throwers from The Dalek Masterplan? Or the dalek emerging from the Thames in The Dalek Invasion of Earth? Or the special weapons dalek? Or the daleks boarding the prison ship in Resurrection of the Daleks? These to me are some of the iconic dalek moments besides the ones you have included here.
