En Mi Soledad
Damaris Lyrics

Yo no sé, no sé, no sé nada, sino amar
Soy tierra sin luz, si no estás aquí no podré vivir
Eres mi poema, mi poesía, mi libertad
In "En Mi Soledad," Damaris expresses the depth and intensity of her love for someone who is no longer with her. She begins by declaring that she knows nothing except love, and that everything she does is driven by it. In her solitude, she feels like the wind that strikes against things and like sand that aimlessly gallops in a field. She feels lost without her beloved and unable to function as she used to. Damaris becomes very poetic in her expressions, drawing on imagery from nature to convey the intensity of her emotions.
The chorus of the song repeats the same lines twice, emphasizing Damaris's longing for her love. Here, she reveals that she has not learned to live without her lover and that her kisses, which were once shared with her, now belong to another person. She describes herself as being a soul in pain, and only the memory of her lover brings her peace. Her hands are empty, and her lover now resides in another person's mouth.
