Exclusivity
Damian Dame Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Yo, e to the x to the c-l-u
From the s to the I, baby, v-i-t-y
Exclusivity

To the e to the x to the c-l-u
From the s to the I, baby, v-i-t-y
Exclusivity
Now, dig

Baby, see you mean the world to me
And I refuse to be without your love
Love for me just like I love for you
And maybe we will be forever one

When I fall in love
Girl, I fall in love
You will be the only one
If you believe in love
Like I believe in love, baby
Girl, I want you, I want you

And when I feel the need
Girl, I feel the need
You will be the only one for me
I will be relieved that
You will be with me, baby

(CHORUS)
All I want from you
Is what you want from me
Ecxlusivity
And what you want from me
Is what I want from you
Baby, exclusivity

Baby, please
You are my everything
And how I long to be
Inside your world

Me for you
And, baby, you for me
Yes, I was meant to be
Your baby girl

When I fall in love
Boy, I fall in love
You will be the only one
If you believe in love
Like I believe in love, baby
Boy, I want you, I want you

And when I feel the need
Boy, I feel the need
You will be the only one I need
I will be relieved that
You will be with me, baby

(CHORUS) 2X

Exclusively, I want you for me
This is a serious matter, l-o-v-e
With the love combined
Together, we can conquer the world
With me as your guy and you as my girl

Body and soul rise together as one
Like a raisin the sun
Nothing can tear us apart
I'll always have a space in my heart
Completely for you

Exclusivity, you mean the world to me
And I refuse to be without your love
Yeah, me for you and baby, you for me
Yes, I was meant to be your baby girl

Yo, girl, when I fall in love
Boy, I fall in love
You will be the only one
If you believe in love
Like I believe in love, baby
Boy, I want you, I want you

And when I feel the need
Boy, I feel the need
You will be the only one for me
I will be relieved that
You will be with me, baby
Say, hey yo

(CHORUS)

I want, I want, I want, I want
I want, I want, I want, I want
Yeah, I want, I want, I want, I want
I want, I want, I want, I want
I want, I want, I want, I want
I want, I want, I want, I want...

Oh, baby, it's fantasy
I want you back of me exclusively
Gonna get it, what you want it
Where you want it, where you need it
Yes, baby, you will be relieved

We should be together like body and soul
Loving another, baby, never let go
Can you tell me you'll be with it
Say, hey yo, hey

Oh, baby boy, I'm the woman you need
I can give you loving that? please
Don't you know I'll wreck it
To you night and day
Whack til you feel it like nothing?

Baby, I can promise?
I can give you nookie
You know nothing about

Boy, give me a minute
And I'm good to go
Say, hey yo, hey...

(CHORUS)

Exclusivity
You exclusively
Exclusivity
You exclusively
Exclusivity
You exclusively

(CHORUS) to fade

Overall Meaning

Damian Dame's song "Exclusivity" is a love song that stresses the importance of commitment in a relationship. The song has a repetitive chorus that emphasizes how the singer wants to be exclusive with their partner. The first verse speaks about the importance of being with someone that means the world to you and how remaining in love with each other brings about a lasting commitment that lasts forever. It speaks about how love brings two people together and creates a bond that is almost indescribable. The second verse is from the female singer's point of view, talking about how she wants to be with her lover exclusively, and how he is her everything.

The repetition of the chorus emphasizes the point that being exclusive is essential and that the love they share is an exclusive bond that nobody else can have with them. The lyrics convey a message of commitment that transcends physical attraction or desire but rather speaks of an intimate connection between two people. The song describes how being with the person you love exclusively brings peace and relief, and that they are the only one for them.

Debra was downright gorgeous! That was a beautiful woman. She was like a firecracker in this video. One of the great 90s era groups taken away far too soon. RIP Damian Dame

In 1994, Damian Dame was preparing to record their sophomore album when tragedy stuck, Debra Hurd died on Monday evening June 27,1994 at 35 when her car skidded out of control during a Thunderstorm in Atlanta,GA. Damian himself grieving the sudden loss of his good friend, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in October '94 shortly after starting work on his solo album "199Sex". He succumbed to the disease after an 18 month battle on Thursday June 27,1996. He was just 29.Β

A sad and heartbreaking end for the both of them. They ironically died within two years of each other on the same date.ο»Ώ
