Far away in a distant land
The story is set in another land, far from where we are

Ten men, weapons close at hand
Ten men equipped with weapons were involved in the fight

These men are at war for peace
The men are fighting because they believe it will bring peace

Outnumbered they are up against all odds
The men are facing unfavorable circumstances- the enemy is more numerous

But their spirit is undeterred
The men refuse to be discouraged

On the distant cries in the wind
They can hear the distant cries of their comrades despite the distance

We hear our friends die in agony
They can hear their comrades dying in pain

We have learnt that we always must stay strong
They have learned the importance of staying strong in the face of difficulties

Relying on each other till the day we die
The men depend on each other until death separates them

Are we the only ones left?
They wonder if they are the only ones still alive

We live to fight another day
They survived and are ready to continue the fight

and we will stay together as one
They remain united as a group

Find another way
They look for alternative solutions or strategies

We either win or we will die by
They only have two possible outcomes

Each others sides
They will die together, fighting side by side

For pride we fight
They fight for their pride or honor

For pride we die
They are willing to die fighting for their pride

We've been here for far too long
The men have been fighting for a long time

we haven't eaten in weeks
They have been without food for weeks

It's hard to go on
They find it difficult to continue

But with each day that slowly passes by
Despite their challenges, they continue living day by day

I don't feel like giving in
They refuse to give up or surrender

I'd rather die
They would rather die fighting than give up

Cos this is the way we are born to be
The men believe it is their destiny to be warriors

A Warrior's heart, never dies
A warrior never loses their fighting spirit

We gather here, beneath the sky
The men come together to gather

The days go by and we lose track of time
They readily lose track of time because of their preoccupation with the war

Watching the seasons pass us by
They observe the changing seasons despite being at war

Sun, wind, snow we've seen it all
They have experienced different weather patterns due to the length of time they have been at war

To serve the king is our sworn duty
Their loyalty lies with the king they have sworn to serve

We fight these wars but why we do not know
They don't recall why they are fighting

A spirit of pride is all we own
The pride of being warriors is what possesses them

A thousand years could pass us by
They believe that even after a thousand years has passed, they will still be remembered as warriors

but it'll never change our warrior's pride
Their warrior pride will remain unbroken and unchanged

Our souls live on in another life
They believe that their souls will continue to exist even after death

The Warrior's way will live on forever
Their way of life will continue even after they are gone

in the hearts and souls of all who stand together
Their legacy will continue to exist in the hearts and souls of their comrades who survive them

The spirit lives on, in our song
Their fighting spirit is commemorated in the song
