The project was inspired by the nature and landscapes of Iceland, a place Albarn frequently visits. A demo of the song was performed live by Albarn on the Boiler Room YouTube channel, as a part of their “Streaming From Isolation” series on May 17th 2020. Later, a more finished version of the song was played at the 2021 Glastonbury Festival Livestream by Albarn.

listening for years trimm trab / feel good / caravan / death of a party / battle and all these unique songs, where every song represents some deep feeling, some yearning, search for peace and absolution .. but always with a giggle .. infantility .. keeping the child inside alive and let it play . .. like "your life as a comic.."
And somehow this songwriting seems to follow some pattern .. the magic are these little things that point direct to the heart ..
"...fell down a hole .. i just wanna be, darling, with you .. the music is made this way..". Yes, it is "made this way". As some masters know, how to make it, they found the pattern and can reproduce it in new songs for decades producing new superb stuff you haven't heard before.
