Some of the happiest days are when the sun rays cascade
There are certain days that are the happiest and those are when the sunlight falls beautifully on your skin.

Over your back in the most naturally placid of ways
The sunlight falls on your back in such a serene and natural way that it makes you feel calm and peaceful.

You don't have to ask whether perhaps it'll rain
During summer, you don't have to worry about it raining as it is usually sunny.

And the centigrade never strays past twenty eight
The temperature is usually perfect during summer and never goes above 28 degrees Celsius.

It's fantastically great kicking back with your mates
It is wonderful to relax with your friends during summer.

And knowing no, you don't have to act to your age
During summer, age doesn't matter and you can just have fun like a child.

You can snack on a Flake or take a basket of cakes
You can indulge in your favorite snacks such as Flake chocolate bars or baskets of cakes during summer.

But make sure you've got some factor eight splashed on your face
Don't forget to apply sunscreen with a factor of eight to protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays.

And the ladies make daisies attached in a chain
Women often make daisy chains to wear as a decorative accessory during summer.

While the lads entertain them with a basketball game
Men often entertain women by playing basketball during summer.

And then after we're knackered and the match has been played
After playing basketball, they are usually tired.

Grab a glass of lemonade and relax in the shade
They then take a break and cool off with a glass of refreshing lemonade in the shade.

We'll bask and just laze in the grass's green blades
They then lie down on the grass and relax while enjoying the green surroundings.

And sit back and just gaze at the paths of the planes

They play around in a light mist of haze that covers the air during summer.

Once upon a summer
At a time in the past summer began

The splendid rays of sunshine on the grass

The air is sweet and warm

Heavenly and calm

It's never been this fun
It's the most fun they ever had in their life.

And though your hay fever itches and makes you be sniffly
Even though you might get allergies during the summer season causing itching and sniffly nose

It's blatantly plain that you'll savour and miss these
It's obvious that these summer memories will be treasured and missed.

Great times when they're gone, days lying in the sun
When this summer is gone, they will miss the amazing days spent lying in the sun.

Bathing, misbehaving and playfighting for fun
They enjoyed taking a bath, behaving mischievously and playing around fighting each other during summer.

They might have been some of the days of your life that you'll always
These summer days might be so good that you will never forget them.

Be reminded of when your time to pass away finally comes
These summer memories will be cherished forever even when one's life is coming to an end.

And as the day becomes night and the sun goes down
When the day is ending, and the sun is setting down.

The shadows grow slow and cloak round your home town
The shadows get darker and cover the surroundings where you live.

There's no sound but the bees and the birds
The only sounds you can hear are the chirping of birds and the buzzing of bees.

And slowly but certainly the season returns
The summer season will return slowly and surely.

You turn down to the ground and there's leaves on the earth
When you look down at the ground, there are fallen leaves on the soil.

Turning brown and allowing the trees to rebirth
The brown leaves will be decomposed, providing nutrients to the soil that will help new trees to grow.

There's a breeze in the air and it breathes through your hair
You can feel the wind blowing gently across your hair.

And that's it - summer leaves for the year
And then that's it, summer ends for the year.

Summer's come and gone
Summer had arrived and then passed by.

The day's no longer young
The summer days are getting shorter.

But the memory lives on
Even though summer has ended, the memories of it will stay on forever.
