During the 2020 quarantine I played and finished this game with a friend I met online. My life has changed so much during these 2 years, I feel tremendous nostalgia with this song, I will soon be 18. Far Cry 5 was definitely the game that impacted me the most personally, a beautiful piece of work.

I guess I imprinted on this song on an emotional level.
When I first played FC5, 4 years ago, my elder dog was going through many seizures, it was a rough, sleepless week and the only times we were both calm was when I left the main menu screen just to listen to Dan Romer's music.
I remember stroking my boy's hair and hugging him as tight as I could while we listened to the soft violin and banjo. My boy turned 14 years of age a month ago, but I am returning to this song because we decided that the best for him was to be put to sleep… Part of my world is slowly fading away and nothing will be the same without him around.
This will forever be our song and I am forever grateful to Dan Romer for giving me this luxury. You gave me and my baby boy serenity when we couldnt find it anywhere else.

@Luke fc4 was very detailed and simple at the same time. It's open world was far superior to any other in the series. Story is weak in both 5 and 4 (although 5 has a better premise, silent protagonist destroys it)

The "resist" ending is weird imo, the nuke came out nowhere, i mean wtf is that?, I understand the reason or meaning behind it but the way it just happened was makes no sense. The "walk away" ending is better tbh even the little twist in the end is far better than the whole nuke plot twist

I did like Farcry 4, it was good game, but Farcry 3 has to be one of the best games I have ever played, everything was just perfect... Characters, soundtrack, missions, location and setting and then there was the awesome enemies, Vaas pirates were perfect enemies and I was blown away when I saw that I was going to go against private military. Farcry 5 wasn't as good as Farcry 3 but it isn't far away from that, first time in Farcry game I actually liked the friendly faction (Whitetail militia), and the music was amazing, maybe even better than Farcry 3 's dubstep combat music. Setting wasn't as good as the tropical island theme but gotta love good old USA!

Had a toxic relationship with the love of my life. Remember waking up to smoke in the middle of the night sometimes, she'd be asleep on our half deflated air mattress, kids asleep in the room. This song was something I listened to before my Auntie died, she brought me up into the person I was to be, and my unucle, almost like a father to me, died recently, but I still associate this song with them, this song will hold a very, very special place in my heart, they were the old gen, and yet I still carry them forward, I love them deeply, and this song really resonates with me because of the timing, I love you two, and I can only hope when they're looking down on me, they may like it too, Love you second mom/dad, always will!
