I know this is a really old video but i have something to say, even though many people wont read this.

As somebody who has been struggling with depression, self-harm, and has attempted more than once, these games mean alot to me. Its spreading more awarness about mental health and giving me and many other people something to relate to. (in a good way, so we know we arent alone.) Mental health goes unnoticed and its sad, Honestly. Its something very serious and people tend to not think before they push somebody closer to the edge, that edge could turn to their grave if your not careful.

Sui--de is not something to laugh about or fake. Its sad that people feel so numb and useless to the point where they think dying is the best choice, and not alot of people survive.

Please, check up on your friends, especially if their acting happier than normal. Im so proud of you, just getting up is a huge achievement, i love you with all my heart and i know i don't know you but that doesn't change the fact that im so fucking proud of you. There's an end to the tunnel, i promise there is. Even if you can't quite see it.

I've accidentally called the wrong number looking for the suicide hotline. The person actually went along with it when I asked if it was the right number.She talked me out of it and I eventually got actual help, she was just the first person to push me into that direction. Recently when I was in my lowest, I texted a suicide crises line and the person on the other end sounded so useless and fake to the point where I didn't know if I was texting a person or an AI. The person was obviously reading off a script and just didn't seem to care at all. It made me feel even more lonely, especially since my own family didn't care when I revealed to them that I'm suicidal.

Also, I chose to text because I despise making phone calls because they give me bad anxiety.

I'm really happy for you thinking that there's no such thing too bad for you to think of suicide, but don't spread your beliefs like I'm the one here in the wrong. The second ending that mark got was rather accurate. when you've been alone for so long and feel like nobody loves you, they confuse basic person-to-person interaction with love. they confuse themselves between the difference of love and kindness. they have probably been isolating themselves for so long, and after hurting themselves or having suicidal thoughts, in a moment of desperation they want to be loved just to feel something. it can get really awkward to the other person who is just genuinely concerned for them and just wants to help, when they think you're in love immediately. when your in that state of mind your trying your best to convince the other person that theyre in love with you too, it can be an extremely confusing state of mind. take it from someone with this experience..

Came back to watch some of mark old content, but when at like around the 10:30-ish mark and the guy got all obsessive it was like a bucket of ice water to the face. I had been all creepy stalking this one dude over the internet and he even became my only fixation for WEEKS, and he still kinda is. I've given up doing any school work because I can't find the modivation and the things I used to love just seem dull to me like going to the beach or playing video games. I myself was both a victim to suicide, as well as s3lf-harm and attempts... I've dealt with friends who've even planned out their deaths, me not even knowing until they're literally in the hospital...even actual deaths both on accident and purpose, even my brother had passed from a drng overdose, and even some of my friends are battling bad habits, and even now I take care of them and make sure they're okay--I'm still healing, and have far ways to go from my past and current trauma, but I've healed a lot, too... I'm in a healthy relationship, my mom has been clean for almost 2-3 years, now, and I'm finally getting somewhere in m journey of progress...it takes a lot of tears, years, maybe even a lifetime, but it's always worth it, in the end, and will get better...dealt with 11+ years of trauma, currently 15, and as a survivor, I can say without a doubt that life is absolute hell, but it's going to give you a greater reward than death--you just need to work hard, one day at a time, learn self-care and boundaries, find yourself, and take baby steps down to the road of success...trust me when I say that I, as well as others, will always care about you. No matter what, whomst, or where you are. Stranger or not, regardless of reason, you matter. If you ever need to talk, know that there are always people out there who will help you and hold your hand while waking through the trauma, hurt, and scars, and that there's no reason why you should ever give up... I've suffered for years, over a decade, and am about to go to a safer place life-wise, where I'm treated right and not neglected or abused...this is my reward. Now go out there, superstar, and find yours❤️

I feel like in the second route, he isn't used to anyone loving him that he DOESN'T want to let that feeling of being wanted go away. He would do ANYTHING to make you stay because he doesn't want to go back to that state. On one end, there's pity for him but on the end, it can be really toxic for you.

I came back to this video being a little more mature now and the ending where he tries to get with you is beyond real. A lot of people can get the wrong idea because really they're alone. And they develop their obsession with the one person that said "I love you" to them, even if its just being a friend. this game actually made me had a mental breakdown because of memories I didn't want to have back. Every word the character said hurt me because I felt the same way as him. About a month ago I tried to k*ll myself and I did not call anyone but my parents did find out that I wanted to end my lif* and seeing their faces of surprise and concern really hurt. I felt such great shame and guilt at that moment that I couldn't even see their faces for days, nor did I write to my friends for days. Feeling su*cidal I think is one of the things that should hurt the most as a human being. This game is too realistic and seriously every word he said, made me remember how I feel...just wow

tbh i’ve been watching mark since 2013 and he made me have a point in life. i’ve never told anyone but i tried to take my own life 4 years ago but i remembered who i wanted to be in the future. i wanted to be someone who dose a thing they enjoy doing while making people also enjoy watching them, i want to make people happy and to make them not lose hope and look forward for the future.

"For the first time in a long while, I'm looking forward to tomorrow" reminds me so much of something a friend said to me years ago over text, after staying up all night messaging him. "For the first time in a long time, I'm going to go to bed tonight not wishing I didn't wake up tomorrow."

He too hyper fixated on me and told me about fantasies he had of us being together and being happy, because I was the first person in a very long time who showed him real empathy and kindness. As weird and random as the sudden romantic paths seemed, people who are starved of human connection will often fixate and obsess like that. Sometimes instantly.

i watched this first when i was struggling myself. then i watched it again and again until i left it alone for a year or two. now that i watch it for the first time in a while, i don’t tear up. i realize that i’ve gotten so much better mentally :)

the "romance" part of this makes me really uncomfortable as someone who used to be the "therapist friend." I had a lot of friends with serious issues and I tried so hard to help them. it ended up putting me in situations where I had to talk them down or out of something and it was nothing short of traumatic. I wouldn't wish that type of pressure on anyone. especially someone as young as I was.

please, if you know of someone who has issues like depression, do not try to help them alone. that isn't your burden to bear. you have to keep yourself safe above everything else and if things get dire, leave it to the professionals.

@clayisjustaghost Far too true for me as well. Every time I get a small act of kindness or a smile from someone, I feel like they have a crush on me, yet they don't. What's even worse is that I've lustful thoughts ever since my ex used me, and after she ghosted me, I just feel far more neglected and in need of lust. I continue to shame myself for my thoughts and my thinking since then. It sucks so bad and it hurts so bad.

Yes! If they end up committing suicide, that isn’t your fault. You can do all you can up help, like connecting them to a therapist, or giving them hotlines, but in the end, putting your mental or physical health seriously in danger isn’t worth it.
Also, it’s dangerous to form your relationship with someone on the possibility of suicide. It gets draining, and is not good for you or the other person.
