Legendary Super-Platinum Producer, DeeJay Dana Ramey, is best known in the music industry for producing tracks for artists such as Yung Joc, Boyz N Da Hood, Gorilla Zoe, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, and more.


DeeJay Dana's career began at to the age of 13 where he sold tapes at school to finance his passion; deejaying parties. He was so good at it that he was known to literally set records on fire! cfter traveling the world with the Navy and working at Club Pache in Spain, he found himself stateside, settling down in ctlanta, Georgia...a move that changed his life.


While working during the day, DeeJay Dana stared an in-home studio while living in Buckhead, Georgia. cs his reputation grew, he partnered with a long-time friend, Randy, and formed RanDan Productions in 2001, which coincidently, was in the same building that now houses The Grind Factory.

In 2006, DeeJay Dana joined Black Hole Productions where he met Big Gee of Boyz N Da Hood, who was signed to Bad Boy South. He was later introduced to Russell Spencer, aka Block of Block ENT., where he signed with the label as an in-house producer. It was here DeeJay Dana earned a list of credits as Producer, Engineer, and Composer for big names in the industry. His achievements exceeded his own expectations. It didn't take long for his production to earn him the illustrious title of Super-Platinum Producer.


In 2009, he established his own label, Dangerous Sound Recordings, LLC which serviced local reputable artists and created a platform for their talents. Dangerous Sounds turned to Jeriquan Enterprises, LLC.






Sadly, DeeJay Dana's musical genius came to an end July 17, 2012. His legacy is being overseen by his surviving widow, Yulanda Lawson, aka DeeJay Majorette.
