We did a similar dance in elementary school P.E. class!! However, we were taught to jump or bounce all the way through!! Haha!! It wasn't a partner dance either!! So funny! I thought it was a staple in every elementary physical education class in the late 70s and early 80s!! You just never forget that song!!!

We had this in a carnival dance in my primary school early seventies, we were each dressed as one of the pack of cards. I was dressed in a red jumpsuit with a 7 diamonds card like thing hanging front and back. My best friend was dressed as a Jokerr she was very good into acrobatics an we made a good spectacle on the street going into formations. We were like 9 years or ten maybe. What is for sure we were spectaular compared to these comedians.

Believe it or not, I'm REALLY NOT bragging here, but a video of ME doing a dance called "The Tush Push" to John Fogerty's "Centerfield" back in the early 1990's would have been FAR more interesting. This was interesting for only two reasons:
1)The music sounded surprisingly 1980's electro-pop for something that was supposedly made in 1972
2)The dancers themselves were pretty oblivious to how utterly dorky they looked dancing to this.
I suppose a third thing that made this video interesting was the dude who was filming it seemed to be trying too hard on NOT focusing on the gal's chests, but couldn't disguise the fact that he really wanted to anyways. (I mean if he could have just lingered for a second longer all us creepy insensitive males could have at least determined if any "headlights" were on!😂)
