A meeting with Herbert resulted in the two working together and eventually marrying; it's Siciliano's voice that graces the likes of "Going Round," "Leave Me Now," and "Suddenly" -- three of Herbert's most successful and original dancefloor-oriented singles. Other outside collaborations with Brooks and fellow Herbert accomplice Phil Parnell were sprinkled throughout the early 2000s. In 2004, Siciliano released her first solo album on K7, Likes..... Though Herbert was on board, Likes... was definitely her show.
On 19 September 2006, Siciliano released her second album, Slappers.

Dani Siciliano Lyrics

As a friend, as a friend, as and old enemy
Take your time, hurry up, the choice is yours, don't be late
Take a rest as a friend as and old memoria
Memoria, memoria, memoria, memoria
Come doused in mud, soaked in bleach, as I want you to be
As a trend, as a friend as an old memoria, memoria
And I swear that I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
Memoria, memoria, memoria, memoria
And I swear that I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
No, I don't have a gun
The lyrics of Dani Siciliano's song "Come as You Are" seemingly take inspiration from Kurt Cobain and Nirvana's song with a similar name. In Dani Siciliano's interpretation, the song plays with the concept of identity and metamorphosis. The opening lines "Come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be" could be seen as an invitation to the listener to be themselves while acknowledging the pressure for one to conform to social expectations. It's as if the singer is saying 'be yourself the way you want to be, not the way you think others want you to be.' The mention of "as an old enemy" implies that the song could be about a past relationship, but the lines "as a friend" suggest an offer of forgiveness and the desire to reconnect.
The song's chorus has the repetition of the word "memoria," possibly derived from the Latin word 'memoria.' The word could mean many things from memory, commemoration, and even objects that serve as souvenirs. The repetition of the word can give significance to the things being remembered, which may be interpreted as a way of holding on to memories that are fading. The lines "Come doused in mud, soaked in bleach, as I want you to be" could point to the concept of duality or blending two opposite ideas, in this case, the metaphor of something clean, like the bleach, with something dirty and grimy. This idea could represent the mixing and changing of roles and perspectives in a relationship.
