In the year 2003 the 29 year old German Daniel Hoppe for the first time attracted both national and international attention. His first production "Gipsy", which he realised in co-operation with Phil Fuldner, enjoyed great popularity!
With "Gipsy" he reserved the top positions in the Charts DDC, ODC, etc. Further Remixes of Robbie Riviera, Laurent Konrad, Akero were real sensations and caused an incredible hype.
In the end of 2004 the second "12"inch of Daniel Hoppe, which was signed by Superstar Recordings and published on 20.12.2004, appeared. "Love and Pride 2005" became number 1 of the DDC Charts nearly over night and defended its position by means of some weeks!
Daniel Hoppes set is well-known for unrestrained house and progressive sounds, paired with a strong electrical note! This combination, as well as his feeling for new trends, is the key to his legendary DJ Gigs!
His gig at the Nature One Festival 2005 was very successful, too!
Further highlights in the year 2006 were gigs like the Budapest Parade for Viva Hungary and as well as various shows in Germany and abroad, for example Slovakia and St. Petersburg/ Russia!
During 2007 Daniel Hoppe played several shows, but a highlight was his performance at the Love Parade, which took place in the Ruhr Area, Essen, for the first time! That night he put on music for Germany’s biggest radio channel, 1Live, at the "1Live Rocker & Friends" party at the delta music park, where more than 5000 people had a great party! Moguai, Mousse T, Bad Boy Bill, Daniel Hoppe and many, many more were responsible for an incredible and unforgettable day and night!
At the beginning of the year 2008 Daniel Hoppe had recorded his new single "Star", which was published on Gimme 5 Recordings! Gimme 5 had also released the smash hit "Die mit dem roten Halsband"!
"Star" was released on 13.02.2008 and is now available and also part of samplers like "Ministry of Sound - Club Files Vol. 3", "Germany's Next Topmodel - The Official Catwalk Hits Taken From The TV Show" and "Club Trance Vol. 43" (with Armand Van Helden, Disco Boys etc.), for example!
Who doesn’t know „Germany’s next Topmodel“? Since 28th February ProSieben has broadcasted the new series of this successful TV show, which has started fulminanty. Before a record number of 18.217 girls had applied as „Germany’s next Topmodel“. Music has always played and still plays a big part in the programme: On the catwalk, during walking-practice or in emotional moments, for example when it is decided if a model will achieve the next round or not.
Ministry of Sound is going to publish the official compilation „Germany’s next Topmodel - The official Catwalk Hits taken from the TV Show” on 28th March 2008. Germany’s most successful independent-label got the licence for „Germany’s next Topmodel“ from MM MerchandisingMedia, the licensing-company of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group.
