Danny has released many free projects over the web, the most popular being 2011’s XXX. Brown released the album "Hawaiian Snow” with G-Unit’s Tony Yayo and several mixtapes (Detroit State of Mind 1-4, Browntown, It’s A Art (with producer Mainframe) and Hot Soup). Brown has found much success on the internet through the support of the music blogs and social media and the decision to release “The Hybrid” online as a free download.
Danny has worked with many artists in the Detroit hip-hop community such as the late J Dilla, Black Milk, Elzhi, Guilty Simpson, Trick Trick, and T3. Also known for championing up-and-coming artists, Danny has worked with lesser known acts such as Oakland, California's Main Attrakionz and is know for promoting these types of underground acts via his twitter.
Brown spent most of the summer of 2010 touring with G-Unit, and a few months later released “Hawaiian Snow” with Tony Yayo. Due to lack of promotion the sales were disappointing, however through the G-Unit connection Brown was able to experience firsthand the rigors of touring and the workings of the music industry as a whole. The experience served to jade Danny to the concepts of being on a major label and committing himself to appealing to an urban audience who he felt rejected him because of his look and style of dress which consisted of skinny jeans and vintage tees as 50 Cent refused to sign Danny Brown to G-Unit because he didn’t approve of his distaste for baggy denim. No longer concentrating on appealing to any particular audience, With this new found freedom, Danny delved into making more experimental music based on influences like UK Grime and Progressive Rock.
His experimental sound melded with traditional street narrative has brought about attention from progressive press such as Pitchfork.com, Fader Magazine, Spin Magazine and the like but no press more satisfying than making the cover of the Detroit Metro Times, his hometown’s alternative art’s and culture magazine.
Danny’s music later found a home on Fool’s Gold Records, the independent label helmed by internationally heralded DJ A-Trak and his partner Nick Catchdubs. The label and the artist having the same mindset, the two parties are now focused on releasing his upcoming projects, a free album that released Summer 2011 entitled “XXX” and his untitled Fool’s Gold records debut coming subsequently after.
His albums that followed also received positive feedback (Old, Atrocity Exhibition, U Know What I'm Sayin?).
He then sadly dunked on anyone else who had the misfortune to drop in the calendar year 2023 by dropping album of the decade Scaring the Hoes Vol. 1 with JPEGMAFIA on March 24th. It tragically received praise from disgraced music reviewer the BallDrop, but contrarily to this otherwise mark of disgrace from the worst person we all have the displeasure to be aware of, the album actually fye asl.
You know he had to go two for two on the DLC of Scaring the Hoes on the sacred national holiday of 7/11. No skips all Ws and is not mixed like shit for the "aesthetic" anymore, and JPEGMAFIA dodges the corny allegations by making Danny audible. Great news all around.
On October 17th, he began the rollout for his highly anticapted sixth studio album with the single Tantor (fire as fuck).

Yeah
Uh
Yeah
Uh
Always wanna go
Always tell her, "Yes"
Know you think you know everything
But you don't
Wanna do the right thing
But you probably won't
So you chase the night life
Blinded by the lights
Bottom of the empty glass
Where you find life
Always left behind
Because she think she right
Thinking that she grown
But always need your advice
And always in a situation
That she need your help
But wouldn't help another
Only care about herself
In your VIP
Asking, "Where the drink at?"
Calling her a groupie
You'd think she'd really think that?
She just wanna hear that
That ass look right
What you doing after this?
Fuck tomorrow night
Wanna snort some blow?
Pop a lot of pills?
Fucking when the sun come up
She don't feel
She wanna party all the time
Party all the time
She wanna party all the time
She wanna party all the time
Party all the time
She wanna party all the time
She wanna party all the time
Party all the time
She wanna party all the time
She wanna party all the time
Party all the time
She wanna party all the time
Skip semester, classes have passed
Say she going back, but she ain't going back
Cause time ain't waiting for a future on hold
At glass tables, on her knees, sniffing coke
Tell her get a hold, grip on life
Rather fill her cup up, liquor with no ice
Twice had an abortion, young, dumb, misfortune
Rate that she going, she might be whorin'
Signs she ignoring, but doesn't recognize
Blind to what's occurring, what's going in your mind?
Seven days a week, same shit every morning
Calling her a cab from different niggas' apartments
Wanting her to change, but she won't, dog
Just another number in her fucking call log
Lost in the fog, head in the smoke
Laughing at the world 'cause her life is a joke
She wanna party all the time
Party all the time
She wanna party all the time
She wanna party all the time
Party all the time
She wanna party all the time
She wanna party all the time
Party all the time
She wanna party all the time
She wanna party all the time
Party all the time (party all the time)
She wanna party all the time (she wanna party all the time)
The lyrics of Danny Brown's song "Party All the Time" provide a vivid image of a woman who lives for the night life, disregarding the consequences of her actions. The song portrays a young woman who is lost in the party scene and unable to find a way out. She constantly seeks validation from men, asking for their attention and indulging in reckless behavior, such as drug use and promiscuity. Despite knowing that she should do the right thing, the woman is unable to resist the thrill of the party life.
One of the main themes of the song is the idea of self-destruction. The woman is aware that her behavior is harmful, but she continues to engage in it. She is portrayed as being in a state of constant decline, unable to break free from her addiction to the party scene. Another theme is the idea of validation seeking. The woman's need for attention is so strong that she is willing to put herself in dangerous situations just to receive it, even if it means risking her own well-being.
In summary, Danny Brown's "Party All the Time" is a song that explores the dark side of the party life. It sheds light on the destructive nature of addiction, the dangers of seeking validation, and the tragic consequences of neglecting one's own well-being.

Siempre quiero ir
Always wanna go
Siempre dile "Sí", nunca le digas "No"
Always tell her "Yes", never tell her "No"
Sé que crees que lo sabes todo, pero no lo sabes
Know you think you know everything, but you don't
Quiero hacer lo correcto, pero probablemente no lo harás
Wanna do the right thing, but you probably won't
Así que persigues la vida nocturna cegada por las luces
So you chase the night life blinded by the lights
Fondo de un vaso vacío, donde encuentras vida
Bottom of a empty glass, where you find life
Siempre dejada atrás, porque ella cree que tiene razón
Always left behind, because she think she right
Pensando que ella creció pero siempre necesito tu consejo
Thinking that she grown but always need your advice
Y siempre en situación de que ella necesite tu ayuda
And always in situation that she needs your help
Pero no ayudaría a otro, solo se preocuparía por ella misma
But wouldn't help another, only care her about herself

Love this one, it's depressing but it's so honest. Sounds like the girl was really a portrait of Danny himself and what all the partying can do. Xxx is a straight up classic album, nothing like it.
Jerod Wolf
I think Danny is playing a character rather than actually living these events. I feel Danny would be in a ditch or some tragic death if he actually did the shit he did in this album
