Hard times get harder
As life becomes more difficult, it seems to become even more challenging.

Long days get longer

During tough times, even our normally peaceful nights become more isolated and lonely than usual.

There is a certain fall
There is a sense of disappointment when things don't work out as planned, and we are forced to let go of our expectations of life.

Because we knew it all
We thought we had everything figured out in life, but we are now realizing that we didn't have as much control as we thought.

I feel like I'm about to break
I'm close to giving up and breaking down because it feels like everything is going wrong.

Our short lives we take
We tend to take our lives for granted, not realizing how precious and fleeting it really is.

Just one day at a time
We must take life one day at a time, persevering through each challenge as they come.

But still I hold on to a hope
Regardless of what's happening, we try to cling to a glimmer of hope to help us see it through to the end.

I can't see but I know
There may not be any obvious signs that things will get better, but we remain confident that they will turn around for the better.

Well, I know you'll comfort me
There is comfort in knowing that there is someone, whether it be a friend, family member, or a higher power, who will be there to support and comfort us through the rough times.

I took it all for granted
I didn't appreciate what I had in my life, and now I'm realizing the importance of not taking things for granted.

Now I just can't stand it
Now that I see the error of my ways, it's impossible for me to sit back and continue to take life for granted, it's now unbearable.

I tripped all over my pride
All of my self-confidence and hubris blinded me to the reality of my life, and now it's causing me great pain.

A perfect end to a hellish ride
The culmination of all my mistakes and failures is the perfect end to my painful and difficult journey so far.

I pick up the pieces
I'm going to take the first steps to start putting my life back on track by picking up the pieces of my broken life.

Give em back to Jesus
I'm going to rely on God to heal me and help me get back up on my feet.

He'll put us back together
God will help restore all the brokenness in our lives and make things whole again.

So when we're broken it's better
Even though things may be bad now, by relying on God, we can be confident that things will be better in the end.

Is what's happening in my life solely about myself and my own desires or needs?

Is it about you
Is what's happening in my life about someone else and their desires or needs?

Is it about time I found you
Is it about time that I found someone to share my journey with, to support and lean on through the ups and downs of life?

Lord, I know you'll comfort me
No matter the struggles I face or the challenges in my way, I know that God will always be there to comfort and guide me through it all.

Yes I feel you comfort me
I can already feel the comfort and support of God, even if I can't physically see it, and that makes all the difference in the world.
