Outstanding work, folks!
I started my first game of Clear Sky way back and I was so disappointed how everything looked and felt exactly like the original -- which was good, but very flawed and in bad need of polishing -- that I upped and quit on the spot.
Might be the only game I've ever done that to and I have played... quite a lot of games.

I've recently felt mused to give it another chance. Today a wiser gamer, I looked up mods, first of all. This one seems to be all I need and desire. I would've tried it again without any mods, if I had found none appealing... but this mod is just what I wanted to find. It is absolutely appreciated.

I am left speechless...All the complete mods are awesome.They bring more real life to the game and I just hope the guys making them will have some other people working after them.I have one good suggestion for them thou,and if they don't read this someone please share this suggestion with them : for some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. part ( clear sky maybe easiest to mod it like that) add all the locations from all the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.This will need a lot of work but will be worth. :)

There are two mods I will play with. The clear sky reclamation project (csrp for short, fixes ironsights, fixes almost all the glitches, but at a certain point you can't load your quick saves, but loading the autosave first will fix that ^^) and this.

With each new Stalker game they seemed to have made the worlds brighter, friendlier and busier. CS was just a real mess with the factions all over the place, and CoP in particular feels like a designed game world (areas are too "placed" / designed, world too bright and sunny) and with few hostiles (even bandits are friendly now!). A real pity, I wish they'd kept up the dark, harsh and dystopian atmosphere of the first game [made even better by its Complete patch, thanks for all your hard work!]

All S.T.A.L.K.E.R games have their own flavour. These Mods just take it even further. It's like the initial design the developers would have gone for if given the resources and time. Take Shadow of Chernobyl (Ex Oblivion Lost) for example. It went through development hell, and it shows. But with these Complete mods... GSC should hire these fella's.

I thoroughly enjoyed the SoC complete mod but I just finished SoC again and went right into CS but the Clear Sky mod doesn't seem to be doing the same thing as the SoC mod, for instance: enemies dropping guns, requiring unload of scavenged weapons, hitting the use key again while in an inventory won't bring you out (this is probably not the mod though), no noise meter or enemy detection/awareness meter, inventory info in the pop up instead of a window. Is another update coming for CS Complete?

I must say one think - nice. I'm making my own gameplay of this. But i found one problem - game is too easy. Because when i play without mods first main renegades base is very hard to takeout, but with it i can take it out in 1 minute. I play on "Stalker" difficult. NICE WORK!

Would you guys suggest using Clear Sky Complete on Master Difficulty or is there another mod available that is similar to Misery Mod for Call of Pripyat?

The Stalker Shadows of chernobyl comple made the original game SO AWESOME. I skipped Clear sky, due to there being no COMPLETE for it at that time. I played throuh Stalker Call of pripyat. Now I am going to go get this, since I have not played through stalker cs. Yea!

Complete will not make the game harder. It might even make it easier by modifying core elements like shot spread, range, damage and visibility.

Unfortunately, they do. The dark don`t help as much to sneak.

Actually, i have my doubts if the cover of darkness helps at all...

I think the other game`s like shadow of chernobyl has better stealth mechanism.

However, CS is still a great game, i think you should give it a try, since its cheap by now after all those years have passed. Great memories i have of this. Worth it :)

Nothing at all wrong with asking for a game to strive to be better-no need for people to verbally chastise someone for suggesting it. One aspect which would have kicked up the immersion of this series would have been full voice acting, no doubt due to scale it was decided against due to budget. But regardless of wanting to read or not, no one can really deny it would be more immerse if the characters had more personality through voice.
