In all the things you say
What comes is better than what came before
And you'd better come come, come come to me
Better come come, come come to me
Better run, run run, run run to me
Better come
Oh I do believe
In all the things you say
What comes is better that what came before
And you'd better run run, run run to me
Better run, run run, run run to me
Better come, come come, come come to me
You'd better run
The lyrics to Dario Marianelli's "I Found a Reason" seem to speak of hope and confidence in a better future. The singer expresses a belief in the things that their companion says, and they believe that what is to come will be better than what happened in the past. There is a sense of urgency and call for action in the repetition of the phrase "you'd better come/run to me." It seems like the singer is urging their companion to take advantage of this hope and opportunity, instead of being held back by fear or doubt.
The repetition of the phrase "in all the things you say" also emphasizes the importance of communication in a relationship or partnership. Trust and belief in one's partner's words can be a powerful foundation for moving forward and achieving something better.
Overall, the lyrics suggest an optimistic outlook on life and the future, but also acknowledge that action is necessary to make positive change happen.
