Fall
Dark Moors Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Young Kingdoms, Yougn Kingdoms
Prepare the crimson war
Young Kingdoms, Young Kingdoms
Command the righteous law
The fall of melnibone
Imrryr towest in the quiet night sleep
At the northeast part of the turquoise Boiling Sea
Cold wind scream over finest gargoyles high
carrying sings in the dawn that frightens sky
Golden troops may compare a rising storm
and the entire will is on tarkan, Dyvim's core,
Purple towns are attacking from the shore
outer walls and the labyrinth unknown
[CHORUS:]
Young Kingdoms, Yougn Kingdoms
Prepare the crimson war
Young Kingdoms, Young Kingdoms
Command the righteous law
Dragon Isle, oh! Dragon Isle
Sadness dims your witching eye
fancy dream of Xiombarg
Mighty falls in raging hush
Elric guides all the seamen from the bridge
From his leader ship and the laughin' of a bitch
Arches shoot from the topwalls in the crew,
killing men with the anguish of the loot
Tarkan falls as the stumbles on the edge
Just to find the hell dying of his broken neck
Imrryr burns and sorrow has no end
Fury grows as the princess is just dead
[CHORUS]
Stormbringer, demon grabber with runes
Stormbringer, blackest blade with looms
Stormbringer, feed with mourning souls
Your wicked evil, sounding tunes
Mighty runes, melnibone
can you hear the pray for your burning death?
Pearly halls, your magic sight
Are the crushed of lay on your bloody earth?
Dready shores, Melnibone
can you bear the threat of that flaming flags?
Dragon Isle, your sturdy chime
all is lost right now (and prince Yykoon lurks)
Arioch! can you feel my pain
from yor throne of holy lord?
Am i crying in vain despair
My fate weaved by this broadsword?
I cannot see life or light
In her semblance or her eye
must i be forever lone?
beloved Cymoril is gone?

Have you really found the death
by the evil on my hand?

Overall Meaning

The chorus, which repeats twice throughout the song, emphasizes the importance of preparing for war and commanding righteous law. The final verse is particularly poignant, as Elric mourns the loss of his beloved Cymoril and questions the meaning of his own existence. The lyrics are dark and dramatic, reminiscent of high fantasy epics like The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.

Amused me at the end Serafin Fenjul
He said that Spanish people don’t have nothing to do with moorish.😂
Spanish people have more moorish ADN in them blood than any other country under moorish occupation with out mention typical food, habits and physical appearances.
My son in law and his family (from his mother side) all look moorish.
Dark skin, curved nose, hazel eyes , very dark hair and slightly curly.
(This are some of the characteristics.)
The Lady called Luisa ; she expressed her self very well and she is much more wiser 🥰 👏👏 very well said it.
Amazing culture , incredible architecture and richness that they left behind.
That have been and will be forever a great economic asset for Spain.

But the moors the Berber the amazigh tribes
Existed way before the umayyad colonisation of North Africa
They had thier own religion and language
And was a very diverse ethnic group
Tribes from the levant southern Europe west African east African sub Saharan African
All made up the amazigh people's we know as moors

Your a good historian I know you can do better
Moor is not synonymous with Islam

I just spend 40 days in Andalucia and I was fascinated by not just the warm and nice beaches but by the history of it. So, I Googled who are the Moors - and I am glad I learned history from another angle, maybe the truth this time. What is interesting is that the professor at the end suggests that the Spanish and the Arabs have nothing in common. He probably does not get out too much, the similarity in looks of Spanish and Arabs, the language, and some of the food are hard to ignore. Ojala comes from the Arabic word Anshalah, which means hope in Allah, just an example of many words that have come from Arabic. He simply speaks from Ego not from the heart.

Thanks for posting this. Very illuminating. I've travelled through Spain and Morocco but did not fully understand the history of the Moorish influence as told by Spaniards.

The Portuguese do much better preserving their history. However they actively hid the fact the slaves here in America are the real Jews. Yes I said this correctly.

They want the Spanish to tell you that they are a conquered people on the tour? You gotta be kidding! You think europe looked like this 1000 years ago architecturally? Its all fake.... They rebuilt europe to look like old for tourism. All those buildings you see throughout European countries are "NEW OLD" built in the past 80 years..... QUESTION:: If Dresden (even Germany) were bombed to ashes during WWII, where did they get those old looking buildings we see Today? Its like buildings in Las Vegas, everything is fake (Foam and Cardboard Buildings) and eye candy for the gullible tourist !

It kind of pains me when I hear about a culture destroying any vestiges of the previous culture. Who knows how much knowledge has been lost? It's a tragedy!

Pythagoras did not invent anything he studied math in the Egyptian school of mystery for over 20 years. Let's give credit where credit is due.

He studied in Babylonia and Greece too. Popularizing it is just as good.
