Pandemonium
Darlia Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Open up with mysterious lines
Pluck all of the petals in time with the tune
I'm thirsty for the wrong deja vu
And then all the feathers will fall
And delicate cobwebs will form on the wounds
I'm a tide away, hide me on full moons

Fine, I change my mind
And I know if I could then I would rewind
I change my mind
And I know if I could then I would rewind

Don't hire a teacher with all your money
When mistakes can teach lessons for free
I believe, and I say this everyday
Tomorrow's not a day of the week

Fine, I change my mind
And I know if I could then I would rewind
I change my mind
And I know if I could then I would rewind

So much to keep me from taking
But not enough to keep me from waking
What I mean is what I've been lately
Ain't what I wanna be so save me from
The pandemonium
I feel much better but I feel like the weather but worse

Fine, I change my mind
And I know if I could then I would rewind
I change my mind
And I know if I could then I would rewind

So much to keep me from taking
But not enough to keep me from waking
What I mean is what I've been lately
Ain't what I wanna be so save me from

The pandemonium
I feel much better but I feel like the weather but worse

Overall Meaning

The song "Pandemonium" by Darlia is a piece that evokes a sense of emotional turmoil and desperation. The opening lines set an enigmatic tone with the reference to plucking petals in tune and the thirst for the wrong deja vu. The imagery of feathers falling and cobwebs forming on wounds creates a sense of vulnerability and pain. The line "I'm a tide away, hide me on full moons" could be interpreted as a desire to escape from reality and the challenges it brings. The chorus expresses a longing to rewrite the past and change decisions that have led to regret.

The song then takes on a more philosophical bent with the lines "Don't hire a teacher with all your money, when mistakes can teach lessons for free." This suggests a belief in the power of experience and learning from one's mistakes. The final lines of the song "I feel much better but I feel like the weather but worse" convey a sense that the singer is on the path to healing but is not yet out of the woods.

Overall, "Pandemonium" is a song that speaks to the human condition and our desires for self-improvement and redemption. It is a poignant reminder that our mistakes and struggles do not define us and that we have the power to change and grow.

Marco Alan

I can't understand what he's saying but I know there is potential for this band to become big. His voice is good but the whiny voice this could be a little toned down. They are all good musicians though and have a good sense of rhythm.
