I was on Serj's concert (few week ago) and yesterday I was on Scar's concert too!!!! Serj is great I love his music but Daron ... when you see him on stage,everything inside you lives 1000times faster, he has incredible energy!! I can't stop listening his music - it's so powerfull!!!

loved System, liked some of Serj's stuff but Scars is definitely a step in the right direction. Their songs sound kinda like Sytem which is a given, Daron wrote all the songs for both bands but still, great stuff Had this cd in the player nonstop since I bought the damn thing few months ago

meu medo é ficarmos com muita expectativa e na hora que lançarem não ser "grandes coisas" ahaha
se bem que acho difícil eles lançarem algo ruim (caso realmente façam um novo album)
as "acusações" do Serj parecem mimimi mas eu sinto que tem um tantinho de verdade nelas, então enquanto não resolverem isso sem chances :(

They're good with their solo bands and whatnot, but SOAD was symbolic. The fucking image of Epicness. Epicosity, Epicism. SOAD was THE ultimatum, :3, and I'd like nothing more than for them to get back together.

they're not too bad. Daron and John make the band good. And besides, Daron takes over the vocals in a lot of SOAD songs (Lost in Hollywood, Radio/Video, Lonely Day for example.) Maybe add Shavo to SoB, and it could be better ;)

Scars, I find, is very simple and arouses a kind of anger. Serj seems to take on some sort of deepness. When they are SOAD, they get the awesome anger and deepness at the same time.

i'm referring to serj's solo album. with s.o.a.d there was a nice balance and harmony (if you will) with daron and serj going back and forth. not to mention, the lyrics weren't repetitive. some of serj's songs on his solo album just seem like one long chorus

I love the song love the video. I love camping partying and meditating. Evryband might have one but its somthing alot of us do. joey uses double bass pedals, any other bass you hear is probably from the other percussionists. imo joey is good cuz he can play fast but still make sure it matches with the rhythms...unlike a lot of speed metal bands ive been looking at which abuse the hell out of their snare and bass drums

Both Serj and Scars side projects are good, but I think its missing the joint-critique opinion of the other side that is keeping it from being more creative and excelling to what it could be.

Here's the deal - Serj writes down a bunch of lyrics. Daron makes the music. Serj leads the singing. Rock out. Is it so hard? The solo projects both have some great songs, but it's clear that the sum is better than its parts. (this is still a good song, catchy. need a new director tho - the video itself is way too calm for the music.)

yea his name is Daron Malakian he was the guitarist for SOAD and he sometimes sang, especially on Mesmerize and Hypnotize. The drummer (John Dolmayan) is also in SOB.
