Listen, all this takes a lot of gettin' used to.
And you do get used to it...after a while.

There's three things I'll always miss, though.
One: Not havin' to watch my step all the time.
Two: Ah...forget about two.
And three: I miss the songs...folks from Caelondia knew how to carry a tune. Sure, we've got some songs on the old gramophone...but try to imagine what they sounded like, playin' to a room full of fine people, unwinding at the Sole Regret right after a hard day's work.

Those were the days...

Crazy how Darren recorded all these tunes in a NY apartment with a bunk bead and blanket for dampening if I remember the story correctly. Very cool. Indie in the true sense not for the sake of being cool.

He is a genius. Was. Is. and would be.

When I had my first computer for me, alone, around 2012 it was a small notebook that couldn't run anything, with just 2 GB ram, so I started buying indies just to try them, and Bastion was one of the first. This music made me fall in love with Bastion inmediatelly, and still fills me with joy.
Still today I mostly play indie games because of how much I loved Bastion. Thanks Supergiant.

I can relate. This was one of the few games I could run.

You can definitely hear aspects of Korb's style back in this piece that still surface in the Hades OST. Familiar, yet fresh.

Ah, all those memories coming back. Great track, one of my favourites.

The way this is mixed is like a warm hug for my ears! Some damn good strings and guitar.

I love the gradual buildup on these songs early in the game

Yes, the rising tension is wonderful. Much like how shorter songs have an accelerando.

"I is for In Case of Trouble, a song grown famous across the land, dedicated to the pioneerin' spirit of Caelondia"
