Mixing elements such as hardcore, punk, country and bossa nova, the band draws influence from Millencollin, Less than Jake and blink-182. They have one EP, "Darvin", and two albums, "Pra Ontem", released by the indie label Dryce Records and "Darvin", released by Universal.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Darvin's song Aurora are both hopeful and bleak at the same time. The opening verse calls for the clarifying of our ideas and unifying the Koreas (presumably North and South). The next line speaks of sowing flowers in the fields of Mars, which can be interpreted as a call for peaceful exploration of the unknown instead of war and destruction. The lyrics then continue on to talk about distributing kindness and waking up at noon to prove that the world is wrong in its values. The last line of the verse seems to imply that destiny can't take away what chance has given.

The second verse takes a much darker turn, with the line saying that the end is near and we have nothing left but to die holding each other. The following line speaks of the possibility of one more war, and wiping all the poor, unloving humans from the planet. The last line of the verse ends with a bleak thought that those who don't know love will be the end of us all.

The chorus then comes in, singing about how it's difficult to see from where we currently are. It then speaks of seeing coral reefs in the midst of storms and finding true peace amidst the greatest fears. The last two lines speak of astrological alignments and the power of love to bring even rivals together for a greater purpose.
