Colgado y enamorado
Sencillamente perdido y desorientado
Colgado de tu presente
Colgado de tu pasado
Colgado como un pendiente
De tu amor clavado
La marea va
Tanto movimiento me mareará
Una noche en blanco sin saber de ti
Al tenerte a mi lado
Vivo colgado
Yo que voy buscándote
Por las calles de mi mente
Sin tenerte a su lado
Su sueño es preciado
Yo vivo colgado de ti
Colgado, vivo colgado
Colgado y enamorado
Sencillamente perdido y desorientado
Colgado de tu presente
Colgado de tu pasado
Colgado como un pendiente
De tu amor clavado
Una luna viene
Una luna va
Tanta luna llena me iluminara
Una noche en blanco sin saber de ti
No tenerte a mi lado
Vivo colgado
Yo que voy buscándote
Por las calles de mi mente
Sin tenerte a su lado
Mi sueño es preciado
Yo vivo colgado de ti
Colgado, vivo colgado
Colgado y enamorado
Sencillamente perdido y desorientado
Colgado de tu presente
Colgado de tu pasado
Colgado como un pendiente
De tu amor clavado
Colgado, vivo colgado...
Colgado, vivo colgado
In David Bustamante's song Colgado, "colgado" means "hanging." However, it is used in this song metaphorically to express how the singer feels about his love interest - he is "hanging" on her every move and thought. He is deeply in love and completely lost and disoriented without her. In the chorus, the singer emphasizes how he is living his life hanging on to her every action, whether it be in the present or in the past. The singer uses the ocean and the moon to illustrate his emotions, stating that the movement of the tide and the phases of the moon will only serve to further confuse him.
The singer dreams of being with his love interest, but he is unable to have her by his side. He wanders the streets of his mind searching for her, as she is his precious dream. The repetition of the phrase "vivo colgado de ti" (I am hanging on to you) serves to emphasize how intense the singer's feelings are for the love interest.
Overall, the song portrays the emotions of a love-struck individual who is unable to be with the object of their affections. The lyrics highlight how the singer's life revolves around the person he loves, and he is hanging on every moment of their existence.
