En el que se vive una ilusion
Que podre dejarte
Tan pegado al alma
Que se quede ayi
En tu corazon
Yo no pretendo enseñarte
Lo que es el mundo
Pero vale la pena
Disfrutar cada dia
Lo que me ha regalado
El privilegio de amarte
Di lo que sientas
Haz lo que piensas
Da lo que tengas
Y no te arrepientas
Y si no llega
Lo que esperas
No te conformes
Jamas te detengas
Pero sobre todas
Las cosas
Nunca te olvides de dios
Sera este tamaño
De tus pensamientos
No te permitas fracasar
Lo mas importante
Son los sentimientos
Y lo que no puedes contar
Y cuando llegue
El momento
En que tu sola
Quisieras volar
Aunque no estemos juntos
Estaran los recuerdos
Con solo quererlo
Volveras a vivirlos
Di lo que sientas
Haz lo que piensas
Da lo que tengas
Y no te arrepientas
No te limites
A lo que digan
Se lo que quieras
Pero se tu misma
Y si no llega
Lo que esperabas
No te conformes
Jamas te detengas
Pero sobre todas
Las cosas
Nunca te olvides
De dios
Pero sobre todas
Las cosas
Como te quiero
Mi amor
The song "El Privilegio de Amar" by David Bustamante is a touching ballad about the importance of love, self-expression, and faith in one's life. The opening lines of the song ask what one can say in the short time that an illusion lasts, what one can leave behind that will remain in the heart. The singer acknowledges that he cannot teach the listener about the world and its flaws, but he encourages them to enjoy each day and appreciate the privilege of loving someone. He advises them to express themselves honestly, be generous, and never give up on their dreams. The most important thing, he says, is to never forget God and to always hold onto their feelings.
In the second verse, the singer urges the listener not to allow their thoughts to become limited by fear of failure or concern for others' opinions. He tells them to be themselves and not to settle for less than they truly want. If their expectations are not met, he advises them to keep pushing forward and never give up. He ends the song by reminding the listener that memories are powerful and enduring, and that even in times of loneliness, they can return to the happy moments they have shared.
Overall, the song is a beautiful meditation on the importance of love and faith in one's life, and a heartfelt call to live fully and express oneself honestly before one's time runs out.
