I'll Meet You Halfway
David Cassidy The Partridge Family Lyrics

Will there come a day when you and I can say
We can fin'lly see each other?
Will there come a time when we can find the time
To reach out for one another?
We've been trav'lin' in circles such a long, long time,
Try'n' to say hello,
And we can just let it ride,
But you're someone that I'd like to get to know.
I'll meet you halfway, That's better than no way.
There must be someway to get it together.
And if there's some way I know that some day
We just might work it out forever.
I'll meet you halfway, That's better than no way.

I'll meet you halfway, That's better than no way.

I grew-up in the ‘60’s & ‘70’s.
I was a big fan of David Cassidy.
I even became a singer and musician largely because of him.
David Cassidy had the world at his fingertips. He had extraordinary good looks, talent, fame, all the women he could ever desire and tons of money.
But none of that was enough.
David died of liver failure due to years of alcohol addiction.
Jesus said, “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:26.

I also became addicted to alcohol.
But God, saved-me and set me free from the bondage of alcohol addiction!
I give God all the glory!
Jesus said, ““I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No-one can come to the Father, but by ME.” John 14:6

I pray that in David’s final moments,
he made peace with God
by trusting his soul to Jesus Christ.
But what about YOU friend?

David had an immense talent base from singing to acting. David had so much to give but could never defeat his demons. May he be resting in peace

I second that.

David could definitely sing!!! I'm sure many tried to copy his voice and stage presentation. A lot of talent, can't copy that😁👍

She has to be one of the most perfect, pure and real beauties of the world! No real makeup like todays females, just straight up plain Beauty!

Debbie Scott

That's the way most of us were back in the 1970's.

Robert Collins

I've never heard any bad publicity from her either.

The songs on this show were really outstanding. This is one of the best.

Yes, and it didn't hurt that they had some of the best session singers and musicians in the business actually playing the instruments, and singing backup. That would be the Ron Hicklin singers, and the amazing Wrecking Crew on guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and those fantastic harpsichord parts🎶 ❤️🎶
