David Guetta Lyrics

I can't believe what I did for us
Oh, crash and we burn into flames
Stitch myself up and I do it again
I can't believe what I did for love
What I did for love
What I did for love
It hurts, but I remember every scar
And I've learned
But living is the hardest part
I can't believe what I did for love
I can't believe what I did for us
Oh, crash and we burn into flames
Stitch myself up and I do it again
I can't believe what I did for love
What I did for love
It's not coming back it's not coming back
It's not coming back it's not coming back
It's not coming back
You only live once and you're not coming back
I can't believe what I did for love
I can't believe what I did for us
The lyrics of David Guetta’s song S.T.O.P explore themes of pause and reflection in a fast-paced world. The song begins by asking how many stars can be seen, which is a question that is often overlooked in a hectic world where people are constantly moving and trying to keep up with everything. The singer admits that they haven’t taken the time to look at the stars, highlighting the importance of slowing down and appreciating the world around us.
The lyrics continue to explore the idea of rushing through life and not taking time to appreciate the little things. The singer admits to losing count of the days that have passed and the time that has been spent trying to do what they think is necessary to maintain their sanity. The lyrics suggest that by trying to keep up with everything, people lose sight of what truly matters in life.
The chorus emphasizes the importance of stopping and reflects that the singer is ready to stop and leave their past behind, but they are only willing to do so with someone special. The song suggests that change is necessary, but it is easier when you have someone to share it with.
Overall, the song suggests that in a fast-paced world, it is important to take time to reflect and appreciate the world around us. It emphasizes that change is necessary and sometimes difficult, but it is easier when shared with someone special.

How many stars do you see now?
How much wonder do you still have in your life?
I must admit, I haven't looked
I have been too busy and distracted to appreciate the world around me
All of the lives that we live
The many different paths we take in life
When we rush and we push 'til we bend, 'til we break
When we push ourselves to the limit and beyond
How many days have we lost now?
How much time have we wasted?
I must admit, I'm losing count
I can't keep track anymore
All of the time that we spend
The hours and minutes that slip away from us
Tryin'a do what we do 'cause it makes us feel sane
We are trying to find meaning and purpose in our lives
I'll stop right now but I'm stopping with you (Oh)
I am ready to change, but I don't want to do it alone
I'll leave this town, but I'm leaving with you (Oh)
I want to start fresh, but I want you by my side
I'm so tired of where we've been,
I am exhausted from the mistakes of my past
Life won't start until this ends
I cannot move forward until I let go of the past
How many nights has it been now?
How many restless nights have we had?
I must admit, no keeping count
I have lost track of the sleepless nights
All of the souls that we meet
The many people we encounter in our lives
In a rush, in a race, trying to find better streets
We are constantly searching for something better, often at a frantic pace
I'm on my way, on my way, now
I am ready to start my journey
I admit, it took its toll
I acknowledge that the past has had a negative impact on me
Trading your life for the light
Sacrificing your life for superficial things like fame and success
For the night, it ain't right if it's all that you know
Living only for the moment and not for the future is not the right way to live
I'll stop right now but I'm stopping with you (Oh)
I am ready to make a change, but I don't want to do it alone
I'll stop with you
I will make this change alongside you
