You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling
David Hasselhoff Lyrics

Anymore when I kiss your lips
And there's no tenderness
Like before in your fingertips
You're tryin' hard not to show it
(Baby)
But, baby, baby, I know it
You've lost that lovin' feelin'
Oh that lovin' feelin'
You've lost that lovin' feelin'
Now it's gone, gone, gone, oh
Now there's no welcome look
In your eyes when I reach for you
And girl, you're starting to
Criticize little things I do
It makes just feel like cryin', baby
'Cause baby something beautiful is dying
You've lost that lovin' feelin'
Oh, that lovin' feelin'
You've lost that lovin' feelin
Now it's gone, gone, gone, oh
Baby, baby, I'd get down
On my knees for you
If you would only love me
Like you used to do
We had a love, a love
A love you don't find everyday, oh no
(Oh no)
So don't, don't, don't, don't let it slip away, oh
Bring back that lovin' feelin'
Oh that lovin' feelin'
Bring back that lovin' feelin'
Now it's gone, gone, gone
And I can't go on, oh
Baby, bring back that lovin' feelin'
Oh that lovin' feelin'
Bring back that lovin' feelin'
Now it's gone, gone, gone
Bring back that lovin' feelin'
Oh that lovin' feelin'
Bring back that lovin' feelin'
Now it's gone, gone, gone
Bring back
In the song "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'", David Hasselhoff sings about the loss of intimacy and love in a relationship. He describes how his partner no longer responds the way she used to whenever they spend time together. He notices that her eyes are no longer closed when he kisses her and that there's no tenderness in her touch like there used to be. He realizes that she's trying to keep her feelings hidden, but he knows that the love they once shared is now gone. He tries to rekindle their love by reminding her about the beauty of what they once had, but it seems like it's too late to make things right.
These lyrics are a powerful portrayal of the pain that comes with the end of a relationship. The lyrics indicate that the physical intimacy and emotional closeness have vanished, leaving both partners feeling heartbroken and unable to recapture what they once had. Despite his efforts to remind his partner of the good times they shared, it's clear that the love has faded in their relationship. The song is melancholic and mournful, with a message that's both relatable and poignant.
