They met whilst students at Cambridge University. They have also performed three sketch shows, Bruiser for BBC2, The Mitchell and Webb Situation, on the short-lived Play UK channel, and their own Radio 4 sketch show, That Mitchell and Webb Sound β which was later adapted for television on BBC Two as That Mitchell and Webb Look. Mitchell and Webb have written for Armstrong and Miller, and Big Train. They often appear with Olivia Colman, James Bachman, Mark Evans, and Paterson Joseph.

This brings back vivid memories of sitting in the kitchen late at night as a child reading and my dad would have left the radio on and i dont know what it was but after a certain time they obviously changed what was put on my dads favourite channel or whatever he had on, and it'd always be quite depressing stuff about like someones life as a prostitute and the abuse they faced or some other stuff like that, always told by some sad woman. Formative for a young 7-9 year old me

@Wayne Marvin Apart from the fact the DJ sounds very relaxed and lazy I'm not sure, but I did like some of his rambling like "Reminds me of... something my Grandfather said... early to bed, early to rise... means you never see anyone else"
