Barry G is still amazed by Rodiganโs devotion to the history of reggae and his willingness to learn the history and origin of a song.โHe makes it his duty to experience it; he has mastered it.
Jamaica, its people and its culture still elude and bemuse the most earnest of wannabes. David Rodigan is no wannabe. As far as Jamaicans are concerned, heโs not only on the inside, heโs ranking. Come down, selector!

His voice is so clean and his energy is electrifying. Rest well Tenor Saw! It would be a miracle if they figured out what happened to you one day and who was responsible.

This man could sing 3 words and make a complete album of it. The tune , tone, voice... Unbelievable!

Tenor saw was way ahead of his time his music is as fresh in 2019 as it was in the 80's a great singer gone too soon
Luke Perry
Agreed. If you listen to many of the successful pop artists, there's at least a switch between singing and dance-hall style chorus. Whether we want to acknowledge it, Biggie ran with this, and it's just as fresh as it was in the nineties. The back-and-forth between hip-hop and dancehall reggae might be the most crucial fusion in vocal styles in 2020.

He had such a beautiful old soul... in a kind way, I think he lived well for the short time he was here! I get goose bumps just watching how lighthearted and easy it was, for him to show his talent!!! Itโs almost like an angel who visited us. ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐๐. I AM SO GRATEFUL TO BE BORN AND RAISED IN JAMAICA! โค๏ธ๐ฏ๐ฒ Love Mi Culture Deeply
