It was in 2006 that David Walters released Awa, his first album on the Ya Basta label! with the single "Mesi bon dyé", an adaptation of a prayer written by the Haitian guitarist Frantz Casseus in 1954. Three years later, in 2009, he released Home, teaming up with artists as Asa or Arthur H.
In 2011, he was selected by Canal + to host the program "Les Nouveaux Explorateurs". From then on, we see him traveling to the four corners of the world, in Africa, in South America or in Asia to meet colorful characters who live by and for music. Influenced by these trips, David Walters produced the NeverStopExploring mixtape in 2015 before leaving, this time for New Orleans, to participate in the Nola Is Calling project which builds bridges between the city and its African roots.
He released Soleil Kréyol under the Heavenly Sweetness label on the 31th of December 2019 teaming up this time with Seun Kuti, Ibrahim Maalouf, Vincent Segal, Marine Thibault and Célia wa.

Si ou kouté nous tout mové
Palé yenki palé
Man pa lé mété′w mal
Man pa lé fann ti tjé - aw
An sav ou sentimental
Mè ou cho kon bondamanjak
Man pa lé kouté pèsonn
Ka palé yen ki palé
Man pa lé kouté pèsonn
Sa ka jijé, badjolé
Si ou kouté nou tout mové
I say no one!
Pa lé kouté pèsonn, no one
I say no one!
Pa lé kouté pèsonn, no one
Palé yenki palé
Si ou kouté nous tout mové
Palé yenki palé
Palé yenki palé
Si ou kouté nou tout mové
Palé yenki palé
Man pa lé mété'w mal
Annou pa lité yon kot lot
Annou pa fè ko nou mal
Man plisimé yon a lot
Pa lé kouté pèsonn
Yo tout di nou ka sanm
Dé bay man pa bizwen tann
Man pépé fè dèyè
Pou an ti kou dzèklè
Pa mélé, pa babyè
I say no one!
Pa lé kouté pèsonn, no one
I say no one!
Pa lé kouté pèsonn, no one
Palé yenki palé
Si ou kouté nou tout mové
Palé yenki palé
Palé yenki palé
Si ou kouté nou tout mové
Palé yenki palé
No no no no one
No no no pèsonn
No no no no one
No no no pèsonn
No no no no one
No no no pèsonn
No no no no one
No no no pèsonn
The lyrics in David Walters's song "No One" seem to be encouraging listeners to ignore negative talk or gossip and focus on positivity. The repeated phrase "palé yenki palé" can be translated to "just talk, talk" and is followed by "if you listen to all our bad" and "I don't want to put you in a bad mood." Walters then sings "I don't want to hear anything," suggesting that he doesn't want to listen to negative comments.
In the second verse, Walters encourages people to stay away from those who talk negatively, saying "let's not mix ourselves with others" and "let's not hurt ourselves." He also sings about ignoring the opinions of others who are trying to bring him down and focusing on his own path instead.
Overall, the song seems to be a call to focus on optimism and positivity, and to avoid the negativity and drama that can surround us. It's a reminder to stay true to oneself and not let others bring us down.
