David White (from Sheffield, b.1979) is a rock, pop and metal musician based in Cambridge, UK. He is the founder member, frontman and songwriter of progressive metal band Shoulder of Orion. His first solo album, "A Cautionary Tale", is in a synth pop and alternative rock style and was released on November 1st 2010. His second solo album, "David White" draws more influence from early 70s rock and was released on April 28th 2015.
