He holds a degree in marine zoology; and has worked as a naturalist guide in the Galapagos Islands; led anthropological and natural history expeditions in Peru, Bolivia, and Chile; and subsequently traveled to India and the hinterlands of Nepal. In corporate settings, he uses poetry to bring an understanding of the process of change, helping clients to understand individual and organizational creativity, and to apply that understanding to vitalize and transform the workplace. He is the author of four volumes of poetry.

quiero escribir sobre la fe sobre la luna que se eleva por encima de la nieve.. cada noche. y tiene fe.. aunke vaya perdiendo su plenitud, y se convierte lentamente en la ultima e imposible rendija de luz, antes de abandonarse a la oscuridad total. pero a mi no me keda fe..y me niego a cerderle el menor paso. ke sea este poema.. como la luna nueva.. esbelta y recien estrenada.. la primera oracion ke me lleve a la fe...
