I grew up with this series, and somehow, I don't remember this one. Just watched it on Netflix. I wonder if Michael had fun in this episode. It was scary to see Jonathan like that. We've seen him display his physical strength before, but he looked MAD AS HELL in that bar scene. I wonder if it was his anger, God's anger, or God's anger working through him. It's rare to see the kind, smiling, crying Jonathan go all wrath of God. Great acting. He scared the F**K out of the fat guy! I think Jonathan seeing Mark so hurt and angry drove him over the edge. The bartender was the only one who thought to try to GTFO of there. That old guy FLEW to the door! 😂🚪

Michael Landon , what a talent he was, brilliant actor, writer, director, producer . Was there anything he couldn't do . I loved this show , but I must be honest , to me Michael will always be Little Joe from Bonanza . That's where we met him for the very first time . I also believe Bonanza was the foundation of his moral compass and the ethos of all his work that came later . The principles, morals and ethics depicted in that great western were second to none . It was truly quality television at its finest and Michael Landon continued everything he was involved in after Bonanza instilling all those qualities in his work . Rest in Peace Michael Landon .

36:08 - So no one mentioned the lightning storm when Jonathan opened the door. If I was drinking with my buddies and there was like the most intense storm ever completely out of the blue I think one of us would have at least mentioned it! I often think Landon might have been on a level higher than most of us give him credit for with his writing. I think Smith isn't actually there in physical body and they all just self destruct from him manifesting in their mind. They come clean and it's actually his dad (the sheriff) standing there not Jonathan.

Jack and his gang where sentenced to life in prison. Arnie got a suspended sentence when he agreed to testify against Jack and the gang, now lives in another town working in a diner.

Robbie is now a DEA agent.

I think Jack would have got the Death Penalty for killing a federal agent. Agree with the rest...wonder who took over Sid's place. I am sure Jack's dad, the inept Sheriff resigned after this incident. Robbie may have run for sheriff.

I had added the entire season of Highway to Heaven to my Watchlist in Amazon's Prime Video. I watched the first 12 episodes but was unable to get the 13th episode started. That was okay because it's a Christmas episode but I could not get the 14th episode to start either. How nice to find it on YouTube.

Another great episode. My fav part though is when Jonathan shows his powers through taking on all those bad guys and when the big tough one belly's up after trying to be so tough. I literally hate bullies and love it when there knocked down and instantaneously become cowards.

This episode had a scene that was taken out after it aired, as it was deemed too out of character for Jonathan Smith to kill the bad guy (Jonathan distracts the Michael Bowen character while driving and he crashes into a brick wall). I’ve been trying to locate the footage. It’s not even on the DVD extras.
