'Cause of you, I'm lying awake at night
But I'm seeing our pictures of you
As I close my eyes I fade my way
Into the last of my dream world
It's a place of trust
There's no time to spare
Come and show me you care
That you're believing that here we can win
All of my dreams, are all I see
Try not to wake me, can't you see
All of my dreams, are all I wanna see
Try not to wake me, try not to wake me
Try not to wake me
'Cause of you, my tries to not think of you
They just end up in one million thoughts
It's way too much to mention
See what I mean when you see my creation
It's a place of trust
I can meet you there
There's no time to spare
Come and show me you care
That you're believing that here we can win
All of my dreams are all I see
Try not to wake me, can't you see
All of my dreams are all I wanna see
Try not to wake me, try not to wake me
All of my dreams are all I see
Try not to wake me, can't you see
All of my dreams are all I wanna see
Try not to wake me, try not to wake me
Trapped inside my own dreams
I'm not complaining
Leave behind all I offer your kind
Here we could disappear
All of my dreams are all I see
Try not to wake me, let me be
All of my dreams are all I see
Try not to wake me, can't you see
All of my dreams are all I wanna see
Try not to wake me, try not to wake me
All of my dreams are all I see
Try not to wake me, can't you see
All of my dreams are all I wanna see
Try not to wake me, try not to wake me
Try not to wake me
"Trapped" by Dead by April is a song about the dream world that the singer has created for himself to escape reality. The lyrics suggest that the person is in love with someone but is afraid to express their feelings. The dream world is a place where the singer can be with the person they love without any fear of rejection or judgment. The song revolves around the theme of love, trust, and the willingness to take a risk.
In the first stanza, the lyricist is saying that the person they love is keeping them up at night because they cannot stop thinking about them. They try to forget about them, but the person they love is always on their mind. They close their eyes and enter their dream world, where they can be with the person they love, and they do not want to be woken up. This dream world is a place of trust, and they want the person they love to meet them there and show that they care.
In the second stanza, the lyricist is saying that they have tried to stop thinking about the person they love, but it is impossible as they end up having a million thoughts. They created a world for both of them, where they can forget reality and be together. They want the person they love to meet them there as there is no time to waste, and they want them to believe that they can win together. The lyricist is asking the person they love not to wake them up from their dream world.
The chorus repeatedly says, "All of my dreams are all I see, try not to wake me, can't you see? All of my dreams are all I wanna see, try not to wake me." The lyricist is asking the person they love not to disturb their dreams as they are their only source of happiness. The dream world is the only place where they can be with the person they love without any fear of rejection.
In the third stanza, the lyricist says that they are not complaining about being trapped in their dream world. They are willing to leave everything behind and offer everything they have to the person they love. They want to disappear with the person they love and live in the dream world forever.
Overall, the song is about the fear of confessing one's love to someone and the desire to live in a dream world where one can be with the person they love without fear of rejection. The song's lyrics suggest that it is better to dream and never wake up than to face the reality of unrequited love.
