For a sneak peak of what you want, you could get mafia 2, not only is it set in the 40s and 50s but it makes people go back in time with amazing music, atmosphere and a great open world with interactive objects and NPCs. In the first few chapters you get to drive around Empire Bay in snow in 1945 and then the last few chapters you get to drive around in 1951 in summer. The story is also amazing, a true masterpiece.

This was the last song played at my Dad Martin's funeral yesterday, he chose the music.
We lost our mum in March 2020, Dad was locked in a care home and after over 62 years of marriage he could not be with her, broke his heart.
Dad was called up for national service and sent to Cyprus in 1956, before going he asked mum to marry him , but her dad refused permission. Dad carried my mum's wedding ring in his pocket until he returned home with a special license on 21.01.58 and married my mum Enid on 25.01.58. My heart is broken but they are reunited and their love story goes on x

Omg last comment was 4 years back. No one listens to dean martin anymore. I have gone mad listening to all his songs. I mean i am getting too much into it. I started feeling and imagining my self in the croud when Dean is performing. I have never felt this way, why am i liking jis songs. Its too much. This Never happened with me before. Everybody loves somebody. Whats happening to me. I want to reborn in the past, i want to be amongst people who know him.

Funny the things you remember. My mom used to play this record over and over again. I was 7 years old when I first heard this. Gayle Garnett , Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. Memories are funny things.

One of my earliest memories of my father turning this song up on the radio back in 57', 58?. I was riding in the back of his 55' Nash station wagon. Pea green in color. He worked at a place called Exhibit Mfg. They made and repaired juke boxes and he was always bringing home records that were replaced. I still have a copy of Johnny Cash's I Walk The Line on Sun Records. A great time for a little fella.

5 years ago in December my father passed away from cancer the day after his 37th wedding anniversary to my mother and birthday of my youngest sister. After a three year battle was coming to an end and before he lost coherence, he requested we play this for my mum as we lowered his body into the ground.

I don't retain memories well, but i will forever remember the sombre mood from all his friends and family attending as this song was played as we said our final farewell. I miss you dad..... ♥

Oh yeah. We watched it every week. My mom loved Deano and my dad love Joey Heatherton. I loved watching it as well. I thought the the show was great. Incredibly funny.
