Champagne From a Paper Cup
Death Cab for Cutie Lyrics

I think I'm drunk enough to drive you home now
I'll keep my mouth kept shut from under lock and key
That's rusted firm, no lie
Cause all these conversations wind on and on

Drinking champagne from a paper cup
Is never quite the same
And every sip's moving through my eyes
And up into my brain
At half past two, about time to leave
Cause the DJ's playing rhythm and blues
A sad-sorry state, stutter step to those slammin' grooves
As I'm waiting around for you

Such an underrated Death Cab For Cutie song.

Love Fortune

They will hardly ever play this again live

soylent for you

I'm 54,a working rock musician. This is a cool tune. Will investigate this band further.

Derrick Markley

nice , good age as any. I wish I was still a working musician , damn I hit the ground running at 13 when I started my first band, this song was my anthem in those days, 32 now and I have an epiphone which was tagged Michigan and made from American parts , actually it was when they sued the people that bought out the American factory. sounds and plays amazing , only problem is I lost something , the will to create , my youth , its hard on me, hoping I can get it all back one day and be a 54 year old working musician

Kami Catherine Marie

I think i'm drunk enough to drive myself home.. and maybe make a pit stop at the nearest bridge.

The bixby canyon bridge perhaps?
