Don't Love Nothing
Deathbot Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

A thousand eyes, they pass me by
A river of cars on these concrete lines
And I'm not sorry
For the things they've said I've done

So clap your hands
Raise a smile
Won't you break your back
And stay a while
But I'm telling you what
I don't love nothing
Nothing at all

These days came and tore you up
They spent you like money, wasted your luck
And I'm not sorry
For the things they've said I've done

So clap your hands
Raise a smile
Won't you break your back
And stay a while
But I'm telling you what
I don't love nothing
Nothing at all

So bleach your eyes out dry
Just bleach your eyes out dry

Overall Meaning

The opening lines of the song portray a feeling of isolation and detachment from the world around him. Deathbot describes the fast-paced nature of contemporary urban living with the metaphor of a "river of cars on these concrete lines." However, the "thousand eyes" that pass him by suggest that he feels no real connection. This is reinforced when he sings that he's "not sorry for the things they've said I've done". This could be interpreted in several ways - either he has done something that has caused him to become disconnected, or he has simply chosen to reject the norms and values of the society he is living in. Either way, his detachment is evident.

However, the chorus provides a stark contrast to this isolation. The tone shifts from somber to uplifting as he urges the listener to "clap your hands" and "raise a smile." The disconnect and isolation he feels is in juxtaposition to the need to connect and lift spirits, which is highlighted in the chorus. But, despite the seeming desire to connect, the final lines of the chorus reveal his ultimate paradoxical stance - "I don't love nothing, nothing at all." These lines reveal that despite the external show of positivity, Deathbot harbors a deep-seated sense of negativity and pessimism.

The final line of the song - "So bleach your eyes out dry" - serves as a kind of call to action to the listener to not fall prey to the illusions of the world around them. In essence, Deathbot is saying that in order to see the world as it really is, we need to remove all pretenses and illusions.

Fire debuffs revealing the positions of invisible enemies? If you ask me, that's not cheating; that's a "I'm getting sick to death of this spy player and am swapping to pyro" type beat.

There is auto aming button in the mobile version and it's much easier

Frankly I think he just didn't want to give the Flare gun a reason to exist.

Seeing the “what will waffle time think of me” after waffle time said “ what will CJdeathbot think of me” in his zenith play through just feels so fulfilling

Fun fact: In terms of raw DPS, using one stardust dragon and filling out the rest of your minion slots with terraprisma is stronger than just using one or the other.

I am a summoner main and I actually didn't realize this, thanks

@alexthewrecker4666

That may be true but my crippling OCD will not allow for minion mixing

@Kevaca

Because only one of the same type of minion will hit an enemy, welcome to the world of invincibility frames
