Yesterday
Debelah Morgan Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Who's gonna love me, babe
Who's gonna hold me now
Kiss me tenderly
And rub my body down
Make love by candlelight
Keep me warm at night
I can't believe all you left me was memories
As I lay here, babe
Wishing you here with me
That you were touching me
Making my body scream
How could you leave me there with all these memories
So tell me what the hell am I supposed to be feeling now

Baby you're so fine
You're always on my mind
I think about you all the time
Don't you know I love you so
I never want to let you go
'Cause I still remember yesterday

I still remember yesterday
You took your love and went away
And now your love is just a memory
I still remember yesterday

I rehearse in my mind
More than a thousand times
This broken melody that reminds me
I cannot tell a like
I tried to satisfy
But no one could ever come close to you and me

Baby you're so fine
You're always on my mind
I think about you all the time
Don't you know I love you so
I never want to let you go
'Cause I still remember yesterday

I still remember yesterday
You took your love and went away
And now your love is just a memory
I still remember yesterday

You're so fine
You're always on my mind
I think about you all the time

Baby you're so fine
You're always on my mind
I think about you all the time
Don't you know I love you so
I never want to let you go
'Cause I still remember yesterday

Baby you're so fine
You're always on my mind
I think about you all the time
Don't you know I love you so
I never want to let you go
'Cause I still remember yesterday

I still remember yesterday
You took your love and went away
And now your love is just a memory
I still remember yesterday

I still remember yesterday
You took your love and went away

@trentrama2645

She superunderated she should been bigger then she was

@XaraK1

Always wonder what happened. I know she's released gospel work but it seems to have been as sporadic as her RnB pop stuff so she clearly didn't go gospel. I was always such a fan and would love to know what happened, coz the issue was definitely not talent or pedigree or audience. I was listening to her on both black and white stations

@mochagoddess24
