This is the second incarnation of the band; the band was founded in 1991 by Peterson and John McRae, culminating in the duo's 1996 album, "Wake of Devastation".
Decree's sound has varied a lot over the space of two cds. WOD comes on at times like test dept. on some really nasty drugs, and at other times like a harsh dark ambient/noise/drone-fest. Their second offering, "Moment of Silence" brings both beats and guitars into the mix. This album varies from drum and bass breakbeats to harder industrial metal-influenced pieces, with less in the way of the noisy drones.
After all these years the third offering by Decree is a long awaited album "Fateless" which was released on May 2011. Once again Chris Peterson has managed to build a wall of pounding rythms and angry noise industrial exhibited throughout the album.

Concept of false light has been coming in for me… Here and there… Had one person describe it as Luciferian light… I’m not certain if that is the way to put it… There seems to be a difference of opinion on the role of the being known as Lucifer . In this earth experience.

A person recently referred to lucifer as the same as the term Satan also .. same being or different?
Really resonated when you talked of the shadow still shining brightly, but being narcissistic or dark underneath… I’m trying to observe attention as things have been showing up in the outer worlds for me to learn from recently… Possibly masked in the idea of love. But I am also in the place of seeing each human I come in contact with as a beautiful soul , so… Discernment and healthy boundary as what I seem to be guided towards as I am a very open person

I just had my 2nd go-round of listening to this to end my day. I already contacted the person in my story & told him I have chosen to walk on my own path with the own rhythm of my drum, and I no longer want to see him again. The narcissistic response on the other end of the phone was asked to repeat this 3 times as he 'wanted to clearly understand me' , then he responded to end our call with "Oh what a relief!
