From the honeymoon capital of the world, Niagara Falls, singer/composer/multi-instrumentalist/DJ/producer DEE, made the move to Montreal at the age of 18 where he built his home studio and completely destroyed his credit line....
Going solo in 2001, DEE went to work non-stop on his special blend of electro-pop and dance-rock. His 5-song EP released in 2003 snagged Hollywood attention landing DEE’s catchy songs in indie films and TV series including “Grey’s Anatomy”(ABC), “Punk’d” (MTV), “Roswell” (Fox), “One Tree Hill” (Warner Bros), “Tru Calling”(FOX), “Las Vegas”(NBC), “Ghost Whisperer” (CBC), “Joan Of Arcadia”(CBS), the Ford Edge commercial airing Winter/Spring 2007, and many more.
Closer to home, 5 songs by DEE have also been featured in Ricardo Trogi’s latest Canadian flick “Horloge Biologique”. It includes the first single and video from the album soundtrack “Let’s Have a Rendez-Vous” featuring the voice of Mel, a long-time collaborator of DEE.
Produced by DEE himself, his long awaited debut album has been released in Canada in March 2006. Lyrically playful and melodically ambitious, DEE’s power pop is filled with satisfying hooks that remain with you for days afterwards.

It's 22
Yeah, uh
Tryna figure the last time that I was hopeless
I been opening doors while sum is findin' closure
I'm still all in my bag like it's my freshman floater
But these vices that's so unlike me still taking over
Minimalist in my ways like my last few relations and such
Tory Burch purses I got new verses, for all of the above uh
What's a boss to his niggas if he ain't got shit to give
If you come around me then you'll be bound to win
I'm the definition and the truest sense of a made man
And I done helped some people, I'd be damned if I just saved again
Lessons learned and bridges burned
That's a farewell shawty, this ain't no carousel shawty
You love capturing your life inside them pictures
But I just tell you calm it down whenever I be with ya
I'm a real nigga
Yeah
That's a fairy tale shawty, this ain't no carousel shawty
You love capturing your life inside them pictures
But I just tell you calm it down whenever I be with ya
I'm a real nigga
The second act is a classic, this shit feel automatic
I twist words like it's cursive just so I up the status
I was taught to invest it, I know these things ain't average
With this knowledge I'm building up, I'm the first to pass it
I get my groove on as I move through these new rooms
I'm in a new zone, I can kick like two tones
Straight business are we, talking bout the limits are we
Leveraging the system are we, keeping it fly
It's a different kind of vibe when you moving like this
You get a different kind of high when you worry bout this
You wish that I would settle down, I know that very well
I know you heard around the town that I've been everywhere
And I can't hold you down, you know that very well
That's a fairy tale shawty, this ain't no carousel shawty
You love capturing your life inside them pictures
But I just tell you calm it down whenever I be with ya
I'm a real nigga
