from like '90 on uk rave, hardcore, ragga jungle, jungle/DnB, dubstep, drumstep, to the future....it used to be based on the breaks used, patterns of programming, tempos, synth sounds, samples used....its doesn't matter its all bass/breakbeat culture.....Ive been listening to it since 1992 when I was 12 years old, trust.

if you want to get technical, this is the "im still in love with you" riddim, originally by alton ellis, sampled by althea & donna as "uptown top rankin". as far as the DnB vs Jungle discussion, i understand that jungle is a specific form of DnB, so if this is jungle, then it must also be DnB. if it is NOT jungle, then it is still DnB.

As far as I know, Jungle was there before DnB. To me it sounds and feels different; to me, DnB emerged out of Jungle.

jungle was around since 91 and dnb sorta came around at 96 so dnb is a form of jungle :)

i heard it was 'cos all the bad boys were gettin into jungle and the main dj's of the time didn't want the genre to get a bad name so they changed it to dnb... could it be true..who knows? whatever the story it's sick as fuck weather its jungle or dnb....peace!

Is it just me or do all the Wildlife Collective tracks have exactly the same drum pattern with just the sampled tune thrown in and a mix n match bassline? I'm not dissing mearly pointing out how little work (apparently) these 3 talented guys are putting into these collaborative works
