Fuck Them All
Defiance Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Dishing out convictions and your hate filled opinions
Like your anything better than a useless piece of shit
Your spiteful hatred reflects your ignorance
Passing laws and pushing for measures
Your useless opinions don't amount to shit
When you push them on others is where you cross the line
A line you need to be shoved back across
[Chorus]
Fuck them all
Fuck them all
Fuck them all the ain't worth shit
Who the fuck do you think you are to judge peoples choices who the fuck do
You think you are to judge peoples sexuality your bible imposed morals
And family values
Don't mean a thing to me or free thinking people
[Chorus]
The lyrics of Defiance's song "Fuck Them All" are a scathing criticism of people who sit on their high horses of superiority, passing judgments and pushing their hate-filled opinions and beliefs onto others. The song's opening lines are a direct attack on these individuals who believe they are better than the rest and use their convictions to justify their disdain for others. The next line calls them out for their self-righteousness and points out that they are useless in their assessment of others.
The next set of lyrics highlight the impact these people have on society as a whole. They push for laws and measures that reflect their morals and beliefs, but fail to recognize that their opinions are not universal. When they try to impose their opinions on other people's lives, they cross a line that they need to be pushed back across. The chorus is a rallying cry that calls out these people as worthless and not worth anyone's time or attention.
The final verse of the song takes direct aim at those who use religion and family values to justify their hatred towards others. The singer mocks their attempt to impose their values on others, emphasizing that they mean nothing to free-thinking people. The song's overall message is that people should be allowed to make decisions about their own lives without interference or judgment from others.
