From Me to You
Del Shannon Lyrics

If there's anything that you want,
If there's anything I can do,
Just call on me and I'll send it along
With love from me to you.

I've got everything that you want,
Like a heart that is oh, so true.
Just call on me and I'll send it along
With love from me to you.
I got arms that long to hold you
And keep you by my side.
I got lips that long to kiss you
And keep you satisfied, oh.

If there's anything that you want,
If there's anything I can do,
Just call on me and I'll send it along
With love from me to you.
From me, to you.

From me.
To You.

Del Shannon was the first to present the soon-to-be-world-famous BEATLES to American audiences. I love how he sang their signature "Wooo" just right and included John's harmonica accompaniment!

Gene Mars

He had a good falsetto.

ernie martinez

they say ignorance is bliss. Del Shannon had a number of good songs and I believe a number one hit and at least two top ten songs as well. He was also very popular in the UK

A Name

Don't knock ernie's comment: its blissful.

Chip Gaasche

"Ignorance is bliss"?? Wtf?

Bill Ferron

Recorded by Del Shannon in 1963 prior to The Beatles arrival in the United States in 1964.

Ron Keast

The first Lennon and Mccartney song to chart in the USA. and they didn't sing it. RockinRonny

It's kind of funny because the Beatles took a lot of inspiration from 50sartists and he started out in the mid-to-late fifties I think. And then I see him covering their stuff.

I'm very impressed by Del Shannon's version of "From Me To You"! Shannon remained faithful to The Beatles' version. I'm surprised Del didn't record more Beatles songs! I would like to have heard him cover "Thank You Girl"!

Jon's passive-aggressive comments aside, you can search YouTube to find Del's cover of "A World Without Love".
