Delirious? was an English Christian rock and worship band formed in 1993 in Littlehampton (UK). The lineup consisted of Martin Smith on vocals and guitar, Stuart Garrard (also known as Stu G) on guitar and backing vocals, Jon Thatcher on bass guitar, Tim Jupp on keys and piano, and Stew Smith on drums and percussion (1993-2008) and later Paul Evans on drums and percussion (2008-2009). They are perhaps best-known for their modern worship songs 'Rain Down', 'Majesty', 'Lord You Have My Heart', 'Thank You For Saving Me' and their 1995 song "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever" which has been called a "modern worship classic"[1] and is their best known song in the United States. The band regularly led worship at Christian festivals such as Soul Survivor, as well as playing at mainstream festivals like Glastonbury.
The Band started with the name "The Cutting Edge Band", beginning life as a worship band for a youth outreach event called "Cutting Edge", instigated by the Arun Community Church in Littlehampton, West Sussex, England. Later the group made the decision to take the band full time and changed their name to "Delirious?" in 1996. They had a considerable degree of mainstream sucess for an openly Christian band. Between 1997 and 2001, the band targeted the majority of its work towards a mainstream audience, with seven singles reaching the top 40 in the UK music charts. However, between 2003 and 2009 the focus was mainly placed on the CCM market.
Stu G was the only member not related to the others by blood or marriage before drummer Stew Smith left the band. Martin, Stew, and Tim are each married to one of Jon's three sisters.
At the beginning of July 2008 the band announced that they would be splitting up to concentrate on their own things, Martin wanted to spend more time with his family and to put more work into his charity CompassionArt. They played their last concert on the 29th November 2009 at the London Hammersmith Apollo which is now available on DVD, Blu Ray and CD. A showing of the Blu Ray version with a talk from Martin Smith took place at the Leatherhead Theatre on the 22nd of April 2010 to mark the DVD release. Fans also had the chance to meet Martin Smith after the showing.
Stu G and Jon have gone on to form One Sonic Society, while Tim Jupp continues to run the Big Church Day Out Festivals. Stew Smith runs design company Smeezer and Paul Evans continues to drum for various artists.
Martin Smith has hinted that the band may reform in the future.

Obsesión
Delirious? Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Y con lo que no puedo ver
Acaso es que estoy loco
En verdad te siento en mí
Aveces siento no alcanzarte
Aveces te siento en mi
Y aun en el frío del invierno
Arde mi corazón por Ti
Arde en mi Dios
Como una enfermedad
Mi pecado me hace sentir
Se que testarudo soy
Pero Señor
Sin Ti no puedo vivir
Me siento solo en confusión
Desesperado sin visión
Y Tu me cubres como lo hace el sol
Libre vuelo en Tu amor
Arde mi corazón por Ti [x3]
Arde en mi Dios
Arde mi corazón
por Ti" is a Spanish phrase that translates to "My heart burns for You," which is the primary sentiment expressed throughout the song. The lyrics describe the singer's obsession with God and their struggle to fully comprehend and embrace His love. The phrase "Que puedo hacer con mi obsesión" means "What can I do with my obsession," indicating that the singer is unsure of how to reconcile their intense feelings for God with their human limitations.
The lyrics also touch on themes of sin and redemption, with the lines "Mi pecado me hace sentir" meaning "My sin makes me feel." The singer admits to being stubborn and lost without God and is desperate for His guidance and love. The lyrics also express a sense of freedom and release, with the line "libre vuelo en Tu amor" meaning "I fly freely in Your love."
Overall, the song is a powerful declaration of love and devotion to God, with lyrics that touch on the complexities of human spirituality and the struggle to fully embrace faith.

Que puedo hacer con mi obsesión
What can I do with my obsession?
Y con lo que no puedo ver
And with what I cannot see?
Acaso es que estoy loco
Am I crazy?
En verdad te siento en mí
Truly, I feel you within me.
Aveces siento no alcanzarte
Sometimes I feel like I can't reach you.
Aveces te siento en mí
Sometimes I feel you within me.
Y aun en el frío del invierno
And even in the cold of winter,
Tu amor me puede derretir
Your love can melt me.
Arde mi corazón por Ti
My heart burns for you.
Arde en mi Dios
It burns in my God.
Como una enfermedad
Like a disease,
Mi pecado me hace sentir
My sin makes me feel.
Se que testarudo soy
I know I am stubborn.
Pero Señor
But Lord,
Sin Ti no puedo vivir
I cannot live without you.
Me siento solo en confusión
I feel alone and confused.
Desesperado sin visión
Desperate without vision.
Y Tu me cubres como lo hace el sol
And you cover me like the sun.
Libre vuelo en Tu amor
I fly freely in your love.

What can I do with my obsession?
With the things I cannot see
Is there madness in my being?
Is it wind that blows the trees?
Sometimes you're further than the moon
Sometimes you're closer than my skin
And you surround me like a winter fog
You've come and burned me with a kiss
And my heart burns for you
And my heart burns
And I'm so filthy with my sin
I carry pride like a disease
You know I'm stubborn God and I'm longing
to be close
You burn me deeper than I know
I feel lonely without hope
I feel desperate without vision
You wrap around me like a winter coat
You come and free me like a bird
And my heart burns for you
And my heart burns for you

I saw your post on the Jesus Culture cover. You are right they left out the most important part of the song. Without a recognition of sin and saving from that same sin, there can be no response to the Love of God like this. It has to be in response to being saved. Blessings.

This song is what my spirit is crying out for. To burn for Jesus and be set free

Thanks for posting this track..
I used to play the rythem guitar on this back in the early 2000s
The 3 note plucking allong with that second guitar vocalising gave it a progressive rock feel...
