Just Breathe
Demon Hunter Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
To no avail, this fix divine was wrought to do you in
Seemingly endless, beckoning debt
Vacant and nameless, where is the end?
Aching just to endure again sweet loss
Abide again to feel
This is real
Just breathe
Suffer again
Look back
Stand in the wake and breathe
Wait for the end
Fight back
This isn't over
One single touch will further crush your corrupted state of mind
You carve the way for regret to take you further down the line
This isn't over
The lyrics of Demon Hunter's song Just Breathe featuring Christian Alvestam portrays the struggle of someone who is going through a tough phase in life. They are trying their best to overcome the obstacles, but every time they attempt to do something, their efforts seem futile. The "blade" in the first line is metaphorical for the problems that the person is facing, and they keep getting cut down again and again. The fix divine here refers to the person's belief that there is a higher power responsible for their life's course, and the situation is designed to do them in. The lyrics express how the person is in a state of despair and doesn't know where the end lies.
The chorus of the song has a message of hope that conveys how one should continue to breathe and suffer to stand in the wake of their problems. The person is asked to wait for the end without giving up and fighting back instead. A single touch could crush the person's mind and take them further down the line of regret, but they need to stay strong and breathe to get through the tough times.
In conclusion, Demon Hunter's song Just Breathe featuring Christian Alvestam is a motivational track that urges the listener to never give up and keep fighting until the end. The lyrics speak to anyone who is going through a tough phase in life and provides them with the hope and the strength to continue fighting.
